this is a valid and good point. maybe cleveland exposed them in the east finals and maybe the end of detroit's eastern dominance is coming much sooner than later. i tend to think detroit is still gonna be the east #1 for the next 2 years. but i can certainly see why people argue for a wide range of other teams.
cleveland has inexplicably done nothing to improve this offseason. perhaps a deal for bibby is still in the works and the talks with sacramento will re-open. that would be enough to make them a solid #2/#3 in the east with a good shot of getting back to the east finals. but with the roster they have now, i could see cleveland finishing anywhere from 1-5 in the conference. they are kidding themselves if they think they have a championship caliber team right now.

One thing I love and I hope it continues is this myth that Detroit is a legit contender.
