THEO just makes one good move after another!

I don't know why so many people think Theo made a great move. Theo actually offered Nomar a 4 year, $60 million contract.
Since Nomar rejected it, people credit Theo and think he is great. Would we be saying Theo made a bad move had Nomar accepted it?
I am not trying to get on your case Fishhead, I am honestly wondering why people say Theo is so great. Do you think the WS championship last year has really swayed you more than the moves themselves?
Besides Schilling, so many of his GREAT MOVES have come because he failed to do what he set out to do. He went after Contreras, and let him get away to the Yankees (a good thing for the Sox). He went after Pavano and lost him to the Yankees (a god thing for the Sox). He let Pedro become a free agent by not locking him up sooner and paid for a 17 million dollar option year in the process. He signed BK Kim to an oversized contract and had to essentially give him away to the Rockies (the Sox willl pay 5.4 mill of the 6 miil owed to Kim), he traded away a stud young player like Hillenbrand and he basically traded Lowe for Clement.
I think Theo gets TOO much credit because of the WS last year - but all in all he is simply an average GM who makes good moves and as well as bad ones.
