I get what you are saying about defense. We all know Georgia is better but they have given up 30 and 41 last 2 and those are maybe the best 2 teams they played. Only Tenny may be better
Is something up with Georgias D?
Also gave up 22 to both Kent and MIssouri so does that make Georgias D overrated?
TCU has a decent defense at least. I don't think solid is overduing it
Against the run is where I worry though
No defensive starters are out.NONE.

Buckeyes spread the field score a bunch of points but their pass dee was terrible -I like ga for now with the teaser n under - but tcu does have a few weapons -I think ga after that scare n should have lost will be really focused - dangerous now imho

You make an excellent case for Georgia but those big spreads can spell trouble. All your reasoning is correct but there's the intangibles and that's what throws a monkey wrench into even the best handicapping. I know the same intangibles that can destroy a well analyzed pick can fall your way and help with a win but my bottom line is this game should be entertaining and I'd hate to ruin it by losing a ton if things go south.
Believe me your analysis really has me wanting to go Geo and I'm 100% with you not wanting to be on the side the masses are on but I already played a small teaser w/TCU and you know changing rarely works out.
Good Luck G ... enjoy the game

Georgia's defense isn't anywhere near as good as last year's team. Also, they are beat up on defense and missing a few key players. Love TCU TT over 24 1/2!
Disagree, sure Georgia's defense isn't as good as last year but it is still outstanding, plenty of future NFL'ers, held Tennessee to 13, last TD was late in the game.
And the GA offense is definitely better than last year, so many elite athletes with elite speed, if they get their run game going, game over.

Stetson will have his way passing tonight.

TCU pass D will not be able to stop GA passing game, to many mismatches

It was a great game..Its over at halftime.
The intangibles are the TCU lack of talent compared to Georgia. The Line of scrimmage said it all.
Like mentioned earlier, TCU got 2 free TD's off Michigan. TCU punted 6 times in that game and its going to be worse for them against Georgia.

My best guesss for halftime is that Georgia will want to shut out TCU for the 2nd half. I dont think they will play soft with a big lead. there is too much pride on being great in college. Look for TCU to be held down as much as possible.
Thats the only 2nd half thoughts I have.

Right now the 2nd half line is TCU +7. I doubt that they will stay close with Georgia by one TD.

As I said earlier your analysis was spot on and the intangibles went Geo's way (3 turnovers) it doesn't get much better than that ... nice job
The good part I only lost a small amount ... I put a little on live (1H) Geo -20.5 and I'm in for the 2nd half -7
Let's all be happy at midnight!

This makes me wonder about the total...... Stetson Bennett o275.5 passing yards (-115) over 275 won't be a problem but with with a 38-7 lead I can see it ending 52-13 maybe 10........ uhm

c'mon big money
