My free winner for Friday night is on the Milwaukee Brewers on the Run Line over the San Francisco Giants.
MAKE NOTE: All Run Line/Total plays automatically list pitchers with the starters who are scheduled to go at the time of the wager. But with this game I am not concerned with who goes for either team tonight and want you playing this game on the Run Line regardless. That being said, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to be sure you have action even if one of the pitchers scheduled to start is scratched, by re-wagering the game if that takes place.
That's because the Brewers' offense is heating up again, and the team has won seven of 10 behind a .278 batting average. Milwaukee has outscored foes by 19 runs along the way, and there is simply noway the Giants will keep up in this game. San Francisco is batting .195 over its last 10 games.
Look for Milwaukee's offense to be paced by Christian Yelich, who has 96 runs and 85 RBIs for the Brewers this season, and Lorenzo Cain, who has 13 hits and is batting .317 over his past 10 games.
All Brew Crew.

My Friday comp play is the Yankees an the Mariners to open their weekend series from Safeco Field with an Under as Masahiro Tanaka and James Paxton work deep into the night without giving up many runs.
Tanaka has absolutely owned the Mariners in his career, as he comes into tonight's assignment at 6-0 with a 2.34 ERA in his 7 career starts versus the M's. That includes a 3-0 mark in King County, with a 2,17 ERA at Safeco Field! This will be his first start of the season against Seattle.
Paxton came off the DL on Saturday, and fanned 10 Oakland hitters to earn the win. 7 of his last 10 starts have played Under the total. Against New York, he did strike out 9 Yankees, but allowed 4 runs to score in his 5 innings of work back in the month of June. That game did hold Under the total, as 4 of the last 6 series meetings between the teams have also held Under the posted price.
Weekend starts with an Under.

For Friday, let's back the Horned Frogs in their "tune up" game for their big showdown at home with Ohio State next weekend, as TCU does what they want, whenever they want against cross-town rival SMU.
They call this the Iron Skillet battle, but it really has not been close, as the Horned Frogs have been the dominant side - 6 straight wins, none of them closer than 19 points - and they barely broke a sweat in last week's 55-7 romp over Southern.
Coach Patterson pulled the starters at half time in that one.
SMU could not get on the board last week until it was too late in their loss at North Texas. The Mustangs continue to leak on defense where they have allowed over 47 points per game in their last 5 losses dating back to last season.
TCU will be on boar early in this one, and often as well.
Horned Frogs big tonight, say 63-14.
5* TCU
