Make the drinks yourself and save a ton of money. I used to drink an iced venti mocha every day until I was in a Starbucks in an Atlanta hotel and had to explain to the 'barista' how to make it. While I was teaching her how to do it, I decided I wouldnt shell out $4 bucks a day anymore for a few shots of espresso poured into a giant cup of ice and milk.

If I find myself stuck with having to go to a Starbucks, large black coffee. Yes, I say large, just because it pisses them off.

I know....

:WTF:

Me: "I'll take a small coffee"
Server: "Do you mean a tall coffee ?"
Me: "Is tall a small ?"
Server: "Yes"
Me: "Well i'll take a tall coffee then"

Pretencious pricks. When you order a small coffee there is not a $6 an hour employee in the world that doesn't know what you are ordering no matter how much of a stoner they are. Just gimme the coffee !

I rarely go to Starbucks. I prefer Asian pressed coffee with sweetened condensed milk.

When I do go it's usually a tall Caramel Macchiato.

Don't forget the foam!!

It has a base of coffee with the milk and sugar added. Foam on top with a drizzling of caramel syrup on top of the foam. I like to add nutmeg too.

A Caramel Macchiato
1) steam milk
2) brew 2 ounces of espresso
3) pour 2 teaspoons of vanilla syrup into cup
4) fill ¾ of the cup with steamed milk
5) place a dollop of foam on top of milk
6) pour espresso over foam
7) top with swirls of caramel sauce

dollops and swirls?:neenee:

Nope it basically stays all 3 levels until you give it a stir...or you can slurp up all the caramel right away and leave yourself with nothing but the espresso and milk....

The possibilties are endless

Starbucks is the devil. Really got to be an idiot to spend 5 bucks on a cup of coffee and you don't even deserve to have money if you do that each morning. The same company that charges these ridiculous prices are also screwing over the country that supplies them these coffee beans. Ethiopian farmers are getting cheated big time. already a poverty stricken country, these people are barely getting enough money to cover the cost of production. how much richer would we all be if we eliminated spending like this? Could probably afford to retire 10 years earlier!

but remember greed is good. I wish I knew what I know now back at the start up of this franchise. would have purchased some dam stock!
