In 2002 David Simon asked me to write one episode for The Wire, a dramatic series that he had recently sold to HBO. Little did I know that I would become involved as a full time writer, story editor and producer over the course of five seasons and the next six years. So much has been written about The Wire that it would be redundant to duplicate it here. Simply put, I'm proud of what we accomplished, thankful for the opportunity to have been a part of it, and honored to have worked with all of our talented writers, producers, directors, actors, and the hardest working crew in the business, straight out of Baltimore, Maryland. Hands down, this was the best experience of my career.
