Out of that top 4, three are Anheiser Busch-owned. I would like to see the full list, Founders has to be on it.

It already is. Its been at every festival, concert and sporting event Ive been to in the past 6 months. And not all in my area. I travel to go to these events. With that being said, I do like it.

Please explain how you don't drink the water in Mexico but you drink the beer? Wtf? Mexican beer sucks. I only buy American Microbrew beer. It is fresher and made with high quality ingredients. Any of the shit that you buy from Europe sits for months before it gets here and if you notice, the shelf life date is usually much longer than the microbrews.

Do you know how big of a douche you sound like saying something like that?

Have any of you guys tried CHIMAY.

The best beer I have ever had.

Too bad it is $18 a bottle.

Chimay is excellent. Them monks know what they're doing.

If you like Chimay try Allagash White.

I had been on an IPA kick for a while until I got some nasty heartburn from one. Felt like a fire breathing dragon.

Anyone had Focal Banger by Alchemist? Heard it's awesome.

I don't do any stouts or dark beers. Never a fan.

I've had Focal a couple of times...went on a work/beercation back in May. From NY-Vermont-Portland-Boston. It's produced full time now...and I don't think it's as good as Heady.

Boston is where it's at...I've been to Tree House twice, and gotten their beers in several trades...they, along with the double dry hopped Trillium stuff, are by far the best in the game.
Veil brewing and Monkish are next in line...but still not really that close.
Great Notion up in the northwest is supposed to be making some legit stuff as well...but haven't tried them out.
Relatively close to me...but still way out of distro, Ghost in the Machine is the greatest DIPA in the southern half of the US.

Although, I can unequivocally say, that Frost Beer Works Research Series Lush #2 is probably the best IPA in the world right now...it's not being bottled at this time, but it's a straight juice bomb.

Lol, agree.

There are of course some great microbrews out there, but it has definitely brought out the douche crowd to a new extreme.

That Allagash White is a really polarizing beer. I find people absolutely love it or despise it.

Amazing the number of breweries that are opening up. There were 8 within a 25 mile radius of me. Just this year, 7 more have opened and Haymarket from Chicago is getting ready to open 5 minutes from me.

Microbrews is the official beer of hipsters.
That certainly isn't Leinie's, it's far from a microbrew. It's as much of one as Blue Moon.

I thought the the hipsters were keeping it real by drinking PBR.

Yeah but to the hipster they think its a micro..hell they probably think blue moon is a micro..anything that doesn't taste like Coors light or miller lite is a micro to them.. a 14% dogfish 120 and see what they say

...the craft market is coming to a precipice...in the past 2 days, i've sold 6 500 ML beers that cost me ~$120 for over $600.
i've got 200+ bottles valued at $3700 ish retail, and at least twice that on the black mkt.

I have a buddy auctioning off a 12 oz beer right this very second from Voodoo call Manbearpig...it's limited and probably cost $18...the highest bid on this thing right now...............

$625 with 5 hours left to go. And buyer pays shipping to boot
