I think you've got a solid strategy. I usually try to game plan kinda like that too. Just gotta make sure not to get married to it, because you never know what kind of value can fall to you. Maybe a 3rd RB for depth that you just can't pass on or Kelce in the 5th round or something.

i have first overall in the rx 500 league again. wonder what im gonna do

I'd go Bell in a heartbeat at #1 overall. No way am I taking johnson over him this year. Had DJ last year. Love Bell this year tho. Plus he held out of camp and preseason. Fresh legs.

Beckham reportedly could be out until Week 3. Where does that move him in drafts?

bell and DJ both haver QBs who may not make it all season which i hate. this league isn't PPR which also lowers their value but not dramatically. I have a tough decision as I think DJ is way more durable and he should have an advantage in goal line carries

I'd still go Bell. Doesn't matter to me about ppr. Dj catches a ton. Steelers screen game better. Way better offense. Way better QB. Big bens last season maybe.

Teams are already loading up on david Johnson. And bruce arians said they have maybe 2 NFL Wrs on their roster. So teams are going to load up on johnson. You can't do that with Bell and the steelers. Goal line touches are fools gold. Plus steelers will score way more points which means run the ball. Not pass. Bell will have way bigger holes to run through.

And I had DJ every year so far. His rookie year I drafted him in the very last round. Then went 4-8 last year and now going #1-#3 overall. Two years ago I said he was the next Adrian Peterson.

Plus if you get bell. You grab james conor as a handcuff. Way better off than dealing with ellington/chris johnson committee in Arizona if DJ gets hurt again. Which is more likely imo than Bell missing.

I like Bell better as well. Seems more likely to have a monster year that blows everyone else away given Pitt's offense/schedule. Likely easier to handcuff than DJ as well. Even though there isn't a main guy yet, seems more likely a Pitt backup RB will produce value than a AZ backup RB given injury.

edit: Mobb beat me by a minute with the injury handcuff note. Although Connor is on the roster bubble I believe so no clue who Pitt's guy would be. But in the past they've kept a feature back when Bell has been injured/suspended.

your opinions plus JC da master mush claiming DJ I've decided im taking bell

Can't go wrong with either guy for sure. Bell led me to the championship game last season. He is mr consistent. Frustrating lack of use inside the 10 yard line though. You're sitting pretty on a snake draft with the top pick. Irrelevant for me doing a third round reversal. I don't see any scenario where I want a top pick in that format.

Wow dalvin cook and Christian mccaffery both went in 2nd round in my draft tonight

Was targeting cook mid round 3 and thought maybe THAT was too early

But because of that landed stud receiver in mid 3 that shouldn't have been there. Adjustments.

I'd probably let someone else get McCoy. He's old and Buffalo's offense looks like it is going to be bad.

If Tyrod isn't going to be the guy then he could get benched at some point, McCoy could get traded, could get injured, tougher schedule, last yr of his deal so not really in teams plans long-term. Just seems like way too many red flags for a 1st rounder.

Eh I dunno pats.

Guy is in for a huge workload. No gillisie to vulture. Gets a ton of receptions and coaching staff plans to get him even more this year. Some saying he could lead the bills in receptions. So whether they are up or down big he's still getting points. I would be more worried about age next season since he's 29. Only real fear is the injury risk. But every guy, even bell and dj have a risk of some kind.

He's a notch below those two guys but also easily a tier above the next running backs like Gordon, Howard, freeman. And he's a cheaper price than bell and dj. I haven't seen him fall to 8 once in my draft champion leagues but if he does in my bog league this weekend I'll grab him without hesitation.
