Rented the movie last nite and saw it for the first time. I was impressed by the amount of information contained in the movie. Like for example:

Did you know that on 9/10 the president was given a confidential intelligence report, that stated that Osama BinLaden had plans to attack America using commercial aircrafts VERY soon? Did you know the Prez and his people of trust disregarded this report?

Did you know that all the members of the Bin Laden family were flown out of the US shortly after the attack to the WTC on 9/11? If the ultimate purpose of those responsible for homeland security was to find out about Osama Bin Laden's whereabouts, why would the government allow all this people to leave the country?

Why wouldn't they be 'inconvenienced' with questions about their assasin cousin, the man responsible for the death of thousands of Americans? In a normal investigative process, the relatives of the suspect are the first people to be questioned... not this time, why?

Did you know that in the past, Dubya had indirectly received funds from the Bin Laden family to start off his company Arbusto Drilling? Yup, the same company that was taken to bankruptcy by Bush Jr.

Did you know that despite the fact that 13 out of the 15 terrorists identified as perpetrators of the attack ARE Saudis, Bush Sr. flew to Saudi Arabia shortly after the attacks to conduct further business with prominent oilmen there?

Did you know that Al Quadea has never had verifiable connection is Iraq? If this government is really fighting terror, why not going after the intellectual author of the attacks on 9/11, Osama Bin Laden?

Did you know that of all the members in the Senate that have children, only one member has a child at service?

Of course, Republicans deny all of these issues... yet, they fail to address them effectively.

It's a very informative film, I'm sure you will find it intersting. My wise-ass nature won't let me take all the facts presented for face-value, but it sure beats the secrecy under which this government has chosen to go about everything.

A helluva movie!!!

I heard the republicans were making a movie on Expresident Clinton as response to Fahrenheit 9/11... the proposed titles so far are 'Deep Throating in the Oval Office' and 'Slick Willy Does Washington'...:manwh:

That'd be a typical Republican reaction...

I watched it and was completely blown away by the links between former President George Bush senior and the Saudi family of Osama bin Laden. The Iraq's never posed a threat to us this war was Jr. picking up where his daddy left off. (That is just my personal belief.) Watching Bush Jr. sit in that class room with that lost look on his face reminded me of a person sitting in a class room while taking a test that they didn't study for because they were a SLACKER!! Why read those terrorist reports he thought they posed no threat because he and his father had business dealing with the bin Ladins? That movie made me feel like I have been DUPED by our president and that his relationship with the Saudi's is more important than his country.

I find it curious how they highlight the evil of Saddam with execution photage, yet GWB has set records for executions (and vacation time).

Makes you wonder if his priority is killing Americans or protecting them.

If you haven't watched the movie, then don't comment on it's truth or fiction. If 1 percent is truth, then I'm voting for Kerry ! I believe most of it is truth but then I'm still one of those squares who is still waiting for Bush to show me all those enormous stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction !

I know what your stand is regarding abortion and I understand what your take is on the way Kerry has expressed himself about this issue. I also know you're a Christian and that's probably why you will support Bush's statment that "a free Iraq is best for the world, a free Iraq is better for Israel...", but to set a war machine to work for the vested interests involved in the trade of oil is immoral.

Young Americans are dying every day in Iraq. Don't get me wrong, I DO believe America needs to support the troops in Iraq, but it's easy to send other people's children to war. What really is the motive of the war in Iraq?

To wipe off terrorism off the face of the Earth? If that is so, why did Dubya not finish the job and killed Osama? Why let him linger? Why risk it for this guy to train more people and attack America again?

Let me speculate here? If Osama Bin Laden is dead, why would a war be necessary? Isn't it more profitable for the warlords to prolonge this war as long as they can? War means money, war means further supression of the lower social classes. The war in Iraq is wrong. But even if it wasn't wrong, teh way they are handling this war is absolutely ineficcient. Why? Becasue 'war is not meant to be ended, war is meant to be continuous'...

Lie.....this report was 3 years old, said nothing about comm.airliners and only the title of the report said anything about binny attacking in the u.s. no whens, wheres or hows in it....

the fukinn truth could not be said any better, the war in iraq is a side biz for the clan that run the country, poor kids getting killed there for no real purpose other than...................

i also know that moore makes his movies like a book advertises its bonuses......80% bonus comes down to 20% cash, 10% Bonus Play and 15% reload etc, he stretches the facts, for instance when he walked around capitol hill, asking congressmen if their kids would sign up, there was one guy he approached and the guy answered my nephew is in iraq now, he didnt include that in the movie, NOW THAT IS ONLY ONE INSTANCE.....another would be

in bowling for columbine, he stated stats on handgun killings etc, the stats he mentioned were inaccurate because their calculated if a guy kills 2 people before hes killed, according to moore's numbers thats 3 handgun murders instead of 2 as one was the perp and the only 2 TRUE victims......this guys fukinn makin movies and labeling them documentaries

the shitt he shows on 911 is scary, i watched the movie and was baffled as any one else who sees it, but this guy aint no saint working for the good of the people, kerrys a flip flopper, shitt......WERE IN TROUBLE

watch Fahrenhype911 to see what kind of lies (yes, you get to see the full clips) and really see how Moore is lying like hell throughout....

Also, see how Moore used unauthorized interviews from the soldiers (same ones on Fahrenhype 911) who say that Moore used quotes from them that were totally out of context ... interesting to watch both of them..

BTW, WTF doesn't Moore move his FAT ASS to France or Canada where people actually like him? B/C he couldn't fool the ignorant masses and make bank from it...

I remember the morning of 9/11 very vividly. On my way back from a bagel store I heard the first report on the radio. I swear the guy said a "missle" had hit one of the world trade towers. I got home and flipped on the TV and the first reports from what I can remember were still not sure if it was an accident or a terrorist attack and then the 2nd plane hit and of course we all knew. Everybody reacted slowing that day. 7 minutes is not that long. What the hell could he have really done in 7 minutes without more information on whether it was an attack or just an accident? Hell, when the planes were hijacked it took the FAA and others a long time to alert anyone.
Why not just be mad at the terrorists and not Bush!!! What the hell did Clinton do for 8 YEARS about terrorism besides get a BJ in the Oval (he probably called it Oral) office!!! :mad:
