$2000.00 Take #221 Houston (-3.5) over Jacksonville (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27)
This play is from my NFL 411 System. The Texans have had a chance to regroup after losing Matt Schaub. I think that they will be ready to play in this spot and they will be well prepared for the Jaguars. Matt Leinart is going to be under center for Houston and I think that he will be one of the most motivated players in the NFL this week. He knows that this is his last chance and he will try to make the most of it. Even with their backup starting, Houston has a better quarterback under center than the Jaguars and Blaine Gabbert. The Texans also get Andre Johnson back and this team has been winning with defense all season. The Jaguars are just 2-7 in their last nine games overall and I think the Texans will be ready for a big winner here.
$400.00 Take #223 Carolina (-3.5) over Indianapolis (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27)
The Panthers have played better than their 2-8 record looks like. They are 5-5 ATS on the season and last week they almost beat Detroit. They were up 27-14 at halftime but couldn't close the door in the second half. That shouldn't be an issue here against a Colts team that hasn't won a game yet this year. Indianapolis is 0-9 ATS against a team with a losing record and they are 0-6 ATS in their last six games. This is the worst team in football and I don't think that the team or the organization has much motivation to get a win here. Carolina's offense is just too much for Indy to handle and if they get a lead in this game like they have had against teams like Green Bay, Atlanta and Detroit they won't blow it.
$400.00 Take #220 Cincinnati (-7) over Cleveland (1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 27)
The Bengals have played a very difficult schedule recently, with their last four games coming at Seattle, at Tennessee, vs. Pittsburgh and at Baltimore. They went 2-1-1 ATS in those games and they are still undervalued. This team is 10-2-1 ATS in its last 13 games and I think that they will jump all over a very bad Cleveland team. The Browns are one of the worst teams in football and they have gone just 1-6-1 ATS in their last eight games this year and 5-15-2 ATS in their last 22 games overall. The Browns have a lot of issues in the locker room and they will be without two of their best players this week with Peyton Hillis and T.J. Ward still out. Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy is also banged up and this Browns offense won't be able to do anything against Cincinnati's tough defense. I think the Bengals get this one going away.
