How much were you taking?

If you stopped why did you stop and HOW did you stop?

I've been taking them since July and there are some good and bad consequences.

What are YOU taking and how much?

After my father died I took comfort in in a yellow friend called percocet...it got pretty bad although I was still fully functioning (never missed work or did anything shady to get them although they were pricey...I was spending about $1600/month at the end.) I started on subxone and didn't touch the any pills for two years...then I hurt my back on vacation, had to have back surgery and am back on the same thing...now though, I get 240 10 mg percs every month from my doctor. Would be unrealistic to think that I am not physically and probably mentally addicted to them again.

Be careful. Your tolerance to those things can build up quickly. I think I read it takes your brain about two years to get past the mental addiction. ..if you ever really do. The thing about pills I liked is it was easy to function, they dull your pain....sort of like alcohol or other drugs but without the hangover and stigma...but you have to be very careful when stopping. The withdrawals are no fun. And eventually, if you are using recreationally you will want/need to quit. Also the potential for liver damage is high if you are using drugs combined with tylenol....like percocet.

Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions...and again, be careful.

Unless you are dying or in extreme pain I can tell you from experience THERE is NO Good consequences. IT IS ALL BAD or will end up being BAD.

July? Probably having some fun still with those. Make sure you use Metamucil to clean yourself out because you probably constipated.

Not sure what you are taking but as the other poster mentioned Tylenol in the Lortabs and Vicodins is probable your worst enemy on the liver, especially if you drink.

I'd really think about getting off them if you can. I'd say when you hit the 2 year point your probably going to be a mess, physically, emotionally and financially (unless you have some cash to keep it up).

Soon if not already you are going to be taking them not for the high but to stop the dope sickness.

Look up Suboxone.

The yellow ones are probably the 10/500 if they are big with Tylenol or the 10/325 small ones with a bit less Tylenol.

everyone already said it...if you are looking to stop go find your new best friend suboxen...without it you won't be able to get off them without having what feels like the flu for a couple weeks or months depending on how bad you are. Had a terrible habit and still dabble here and there but for the most part kicked it with suboxen. Ususing recreationally is one thing but when you become addicted it is a bitch and it controls your everyday life

and the yellow guys are more of nerve blockers...endocet they are called...10/325 are 10 mg of oxycodone and 325 mg of acetemetophine. Be careful as they will dominate your liver....if you really must take them daily I suggest that you use cold water extraction to extract the codone and filter out the apap.Youtube it if you MUST keep eating these. your liver will thank you

I think SeriousAddiction is being nice when he says flu for a couple weeks. If you are strung out bad then you are looking at 1-2 weeks of pure hell with flu, total body aches, ants crawling on your bones etc.. IT SUCKS.

I take about 60 mg of methadone and 80-100 mg of vicodin/percoset a day (mostly vikes).

It is very expensive, helps with my mood but its losing its appeal.

this is by far the worst part of all withdrawls...sweating in bed freezing (makes no sense I know) and your legs feel like cement and you can't sleep. Just do urself a favor and get on the orange miracles

Grog when you start meeting people you don't know, tearing apart your car because you think you had one in there, picking up your bed to look underneath, looking in all your pockets in the closet, getting stomach problems and shitting your pants - is when it really loses its appeal.:howdy:

I had a friend who became addicted to pain pills that were prescribed to her. She overdosed and died in June 2007, on Morphein that wasn't prescribed.

I've had 2-3 friends OD on opiates and die. Definitely not a picnic.

Orange Pills as SA says. You will never forget 20 minutes after you take your first one and all the marshmellows in your head come out. Day 2 - uhhh kinda shitty. But it works.

w/d is the worst. 7 days of hell. almost impossible to kick on your own because you will feel so bad and want it to start you will go and get high. Best bet is to get suboxene. you won't have any w/d's and will help with the cravings. if you can't get a hold of that, rehab may be the only hope. the only thing with that is it is permanently in your medical records so when you are 60 and have a hip replacement you won't get anything for the pain
