What are YOU taking and how much?
After my father died I took comfort in in a yellow friend called percocet...it got pretty bad although I was still fully functioning (never missed work or did anything shady to get them although they were pricey...I was spending about $1600/month at the end.) I started on subxone and didn't touch the any pills for two years...then I hurt my back on vacation, had to have back surgery and am back on the same thing...now though, I get 240 10 mg percs every month from my doctor. Would be unrealistic to think that I am not physically and probably mentally addicted to them again.
Be careful. Your tolerance to those things can build up quickly. I think I read it takes your brain about two years to get past the mental addiction. ..if you ever really do. The thing about pills I liked is it was easy to function, they dull your pain....sort of like alcohol or other drugs but without the hangover and stigma...but you have to be very careful when stopping. The withdrawals are no fun. And eventually, if you are using recreationally you will want/need to quit. Also the potential for liver damage is high if you are using drugs combined with tylenol....like percocet.
Feel free to pm me if you have any other questions...and again, be careful.
