I've seen the replay a hundred times. I had Wisconsin +3.5 and Arizona PK live. I'm not biased or closed minded or a homer or anything else you want to say. It was not a foul on Gosser. Not even close.

Numerous posters have said no foul should've been called. But, Gosser did bump Johnson in the shoulder first. He initiated contact.

Anyone with two eyes and a heartbeat saw it.

Do you have a link where we can all view it? I'm not finding it anywhere.

The video posted by skoda really isn't definitive from that angle and distance. The video posted by Illini has been pulled due to copyright.

I'll keep trying to find one.

Video don't lie. The only contact was the forearm. I rest my case with the video.

Just the idea that you felt there wasn't a foul is enough for me to guess that one shouldn't have been called on the Wisconsin player at that point of the game. I don't believe one should have been called on Johnson either.

The other big tragedy of this game is how long it took to make the final call on the replay. If you can't make a call after 2 minutes then the play that was called should stand. Yes, I realize they eventually got the call right but it shouldn't take that long to get it right either.

Those refs shouldn't be reffing another game at this level even outside of the playoffs until they can prove themselves in lower conferences again. What a joke!

Refs Calling Questionable Fouls At The End Of NCAA Tournament Games Is The Worst!

Michigan and Tennessee were involved in another game that included a controversial offensive foul in a key moment. With No. 2 Michigan holding on to a 72-71 lead, No. 11 Tennessee had the ball and 10 seconds to find a potential game-winning basket. Following a timeout, the ball went to Tennessee's Jarnell Stokes. The 6' 8" Volunteers forward drove toward the basket and was bracketed by a pair of Michigan defenders. Michigan's Caris Levert reached in to poke the ball way. Morgan, who had planted himself in Stokes' path, fell to the court. With Morgan on the floor, Stokes was whistled for an offensive foul.

No, I don't think I fouled him," Stokes said when asked about the play during his postgame press conference. "But it was a smart play for him to try to take the charge. He pretty much anticipated it."
