Indy, glad I did not jinx your play by being on the same side with you. Ratings came out today--always fun to see how dramatic the women become.

YTD 49-54 -17.10

1*UNC/ Davidson over 160-105

Nothing earth shattering here. UNC's pace coupled with Davidson's mission to launch a 3 on over half their possessions.

3* Nevada -10.5 -100
Irvine already with losses to KSU(22), UCLA(24), and ASU(21). Nevada definitely in the same class as the others and are better in every phase of the game than the Anteaters.

2*Miami -15.5+105
2* Buffalo -110
2* Illinois State-3.5
2*UCSB-2.5
2*Kansas-11.5-105
2*Western Illinois-5
1*Providence+3.5
1*Elon-6
1*UIC+10

5* UAB +2
This line is extremely fishy, especially with Varnado still doubtful. As you might expect, the son of the rifleman can absolutely go off and he is likely to get 25-30. As long as UAB can keep the role players from having career nights, they should pull out with a 6-8 win.

Thanks Indy. Good luck with your action tonight.

5*Memphis -9

Samford used to be a tough out when they ran the Princeton offense under Jimmy Tillette. Now they have a different coach and different system and their results have suffered. Their biggest issue is they simply don't play defense as they are allowing teams to shoot 53% on the year. Not surprisingly they have suffered 5 blowout losses of 19 points or more. Memphis is a step down from their usual level, but this is a great opportunity to pad their stats and build some confidence. I played on Jacksonville State Sunday against the Bulldogs and the result was a 31 point drubbing. I am going to up the ante here.

3* Alabama -3
The Tide had a player's only meeting after the UCF loss, but I think it was in a positive sense. Expect a good defensive showing against RI's guard heavy attack and for Sexton to bounce back from his first subpar game. I will be attending tonight's game because it is extra special to watch your wager go up in flames in person.

I read where there's only 9 teams in the NCAA with less 3 point attempts than Rhode Island, so those guards must not be launching a lot of 3's.

Indeed. Off the top of my head, I would say the RI guards scored 50 points inside the arc against Brown, shooting 70% or so in the process.
