BTW Kruser, the first issue he was dead wrong on. While I don't think he was trying to cheat it sounds like he is so inexperienced he doesn't realize why you can't bet games the night before and then just arbritrarily cancel them the next morning. I think that was wrong but I seriously doubt he was trying to cheat you.

You are in the catbird seat, even if he is just stalling there is no sense allowing him to aggravate you like this. Money in October is just as good as money in May. LOL, you know I don't know why but this kid has really gotten under my skin. He hasn't been wrong on a single arguement since we started. He seems just like one of those cocky kids, and I can't stand that. First we argued that a 1-3 unit scale could mean to win 3 units on a fav and risk 3 on a dog - he won that. Then the other day no matter how much I tried explaining he didn't admit he was wrong on cancelling that wager. Then this comes along and he won't admit he is gaining a big advantage here.

You are right though Pat, I have handled myself well on this site since day one of posting here and I am definitely out of my element here. Thanks for putting things in perspective. I am done here, was just hoping on getting a few opinions.

It's easy to get like that Kruser, I bet many of us have been in similar situations in the past. Not so much about the money, after a while it gets so personal you don't want the other guy to "get one over on you", LOL. Anyway this has been fun following this along, sort of like reality TV except in cyberspace. Regardless of how it ends I commend you both for stepping up to the plate and putting your money where your mouth is.

Thats my problem with this. He is being a flat out coward. Yes we all need breaks in baseball, but to take 5 weeks? He KNOWS DAM well Chop will be done with his plays by then thus giving him a HUGE advantage. He may be able to change his ENTIRE capping style to win the contest if he knows exactly how much he needs. Its just not fair in my opinion. The point of the contest was to post our picks on a relatively daily basis. Yes a few days off here and there, but FIVE WEEKS off is just being a coward.

Dont worry Kruser, I will crush him.

I take back all the nice comments I said earlier about DR03. He is a first class prick. I will take great pleasure in betting the shit out of him.

What's wrong with a little bit of strategy? why does that make him a coward? money is on the line. if it was me i'd use the rules to get myself every advantage i could. who cares if its not fun for everyone involved. the main purpose is to win the $500.

IMO you're crying because you're at a disadvantage now. Its your own fault for not stating it in the rules.

You are right and I appreciate you .02. However, a "break" is fine, but it kind of takes the fun out of the contest when he takes a break for 5 entire weeks doesn't it? Not to mention giving him an unfair advantage.

If it's a seasonlong contest, and he gets in the required number of plays, why would it give him an unfair advantage to make most of those plays later in the season?

Well, if you think about it. Kruser can also choose not to use Chop's bets for the next five weeks right? Or do you HAVE to use whatever Chop posts in consecutive order? I thought that you can maybe skip plays as long as you get the required number of bets by the end of the season.

I have to use EVERY one of Chops picks for the 150 plays. Thats why I said he has a bit of an unfair advantage for Chop will be done with his side of the contest giving DR03 the advantage of knowing exactly what he needs to "win"
