That was/is the ultimate goal. So far it would seem that goal is ever becoming more foreseeable. Republicans had seven years to come up with a plan and either froze or purposely delayed a real free market based plan. My fear is everything will be so damn screwed up that single payer will be sold and forced down all our throats. Once that happens their is absolutely no turning back.

Look at the VA and this will be what most of America will be looking at for their health care. The wealthy will figure out how to skirt the system and there will be doctors that will cater solely to them, probably through a retainer and higher costs or other legal maneuvers. Naturally they will receive the better care.

Never underestimate the creativity of good lawyers when it comes to dealing with the IRS. Unfortunately the middle class will be squeezed, creating a bigger divide between the haves and have nots that exists today.

One thing the CBO can't put a number on is the cost and number of lives impacted by skipping routine procedures like colonoscopies, and routine checkups. Their $50 co pay has turned into a $5,000-$10,000 deductible. Average folks are skipping these routine checkups due to cost.

Higher co-pays and MUCH HIGHER DEDUCTIBLES combined with the fact that scores of millions of Americans have significantly fewer "covered" procedures means those Americans are passing on medical services they used to enjoy.

The assholes made catastrophic plans illegal, but now most of us have catastrophic like plans' deductibles without the benefit of catastrophic like plans' premiums. They think covering one physical per year is some fucking godsend, but if you go to your family doctor because you're sick then you have to pay.

High premiums, higher copays, higher deductibles and fewer covered services, and the FUCKING IDIOTS call that a success.

I'm sick of their lies and their failures, no pun intended.



PS: Of course, if you're living in poverty, or if you have a government job, or if you have a union job, then you don't have to worry about the health insurance issues the GDP producing members of society have to worry about.

Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Shelly Moore Capito and Rob Portman say they will not vote for repeal.Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) urged failed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to hold a vote to repeal Obamacare on the senate floor.

Rand Paul wants the liars to be exposed for running on repeal and now running away from repealing the disastrous bill.
