does it look bad to use a groupon when out with friends or possible someone your dating? or do you think they are so common now, nobody would look at as "cheap"?
ehh you never know, go out to a nice place and everyone is ordering steaks and shit and someone orders like chicken fingers give them shit for being cheap etc
Maybe a first or second date....but w/ friends? No. It's actually kinda "cool" nowadays. I buy them all the time and so do my buddies. We even text or email each other when there's somewhere we all like....
If you use a Groupon or one of those Entertainment Books it doesn't make you look cheap because you have to pre-purchase the discount. If you use one of those clip and save coupons then it can make you look cheap on a date. Just don't always take your guests to restaurants where you have a Groupon at.
I will tell you what.
I met my girlfriend 5 years ago in the line of a grocery store.
She had a handfull of coupons from the Sunday Paper checking out her groceries. A 28 year old hotty with coupons.
She looked fine as heck, and for some reason seeing this chick in the line of the grocery store with coupons turned me on like crazy.
So much so that I introduced myself to her and the rest is history.
Give me a women who is frugle who can think past tomorrow night any day over a women who has to have a new car every six months.
I always respect people who try to save.
Its a sign of someone who thinks ahead.
ehh you never know, go out to a nice place and everyone is ordering steaks and shit and someone orders like chicken fingers give them shit for being cheap etc
you need new friends.
If they are that shallow, you can do better.
Some of the wealthiest people in the world use groupon and coupons.
Its part of what makes people wealthy.
You know spending less money then you make?
Always on the lookout for a good deal.
jus bring it up in convo before you pay if you think its that big a deal...youre saving money/being smart, whoever thinks thats a deal breaker or looked down upon should be slapped
