I didnt see the program, I do know the Nephillim who were fallen angels spoken about in Genesis 6 did build the pyramids. I have read books on that. Patrick Heron was the author I forget the title of the book. I think it apoclypse of the pyramids. The Nephillim were also the reason for the flood as they tried to contaminate the down line of Jesus. The pyramids are said to be a counterfeit of the temple in heaven. Satan is a master counterfeiter

I think the people that don't think any of these theories is possible, are people that don't want to believe the possibilities. I think anything is possible, and tend to believe we as a human race have been assisted to some extent by aliens and a more advanced being. To think we are the only beings exisiting is naive to say the least. The show might be slanted to the aliens , but if you have common sense you can make up your own mind and see the possibilities yourself. I realize there are scientists out there that say those thousand ton stone boulders could have been hoisted up and set side by side like a jig saw puzzle by moving them on some wooden rollers.. But I would like to see these scientists get out in the field with a crew, with no advanced tools, and try carving these thousand ton boulders and stacking them on top of each other several stories high, with them fitting next to each other like perfect building blocks. Just saying ....

occam's razor

one example from the show: mythological creatures that are human/animal hybrids. are these just mythological creatures created by man's imagination... OR DID ALIENS CREATE HUMAN/ANIMAL HYBRID CREATURES? and they all went extinct apparently, we just have some drawings and etchings of them. some of the stuff on the show is ridiculous. some of it is very thought provoking.

and let's be real. trying to recreate a massive stone structure for no other reason than to disprove a show called ancient aliens is a ludicrous notion, if for no other reason that it would be insanely expensive to do.

that wiki page mentioned an episode of nova about how the pyramids were built. that would probably be a good watch for anyone wondering how ancient man could move and assemble massive stones. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypti...n_techniques#NOVA_pyramid_building_experiment

speaking of the pyramids, there was an episode of ancient aliens that theorized that the great pyramid is a spaceship or something like that. yeah, i guess so, or it could be a giant tomb to honor pharaohs. occam's razor.

I realize nodody is going to recreate thousand ton boulders being stacked precision like on top of each other stories high for the reasons you state, but nobody can convince me they could have done this thousands of years ago with primitive tools. it would be almost impossible now to do let alone then.

thats the same thing with the moon landing, people say "nobody can convince me" and therefore they cant be convinced despite the overwhelming amount of reasoning that could be thrown at them

even if later on they come up with totally plausible theories you have already assumed an unchangeable position

I wont go as far as saying "noone can convince me" but I will take the opposite position

it would be VERY hard to convince ME that some aliens found this tiny spot of dust..spinning around an ordinary star 1,2 or whatever thousand of years ago it was supposed to be, they ran into a planet that gave zero hint of intelligent life and then decided to play builders or engineers of structures of this "rare" element called "stone" because they had nothing better to do than help this ape like creatures do silly things with stones to bury their pharohs or whatever....and then left without leaving something ,ANYTHING that can be definitively identified as alien ....and then people make a living writing books about ETs playing intergalactic general contractor

I don't believe an argument was stated. No conclusion was made, only a supposition.

Argument from incredulity isn't necessarily invalid. Sometimes it's just incomplete.

Ambiguity however is the cause of many problems. I figured you were trying to make an statement on something.

Anything can be construed as "not necessarily invalid, sometimes just incomplete"

I still remember a discussion in here were the argument was "I cant believe they could land in the moon with the computers they had back then, they were like toasters!" or something along those lines.

I misspoke by saying " no one can convince me " I like to keep a openmind. Advanced Aliens could have found us easily with advanced technolgy, your just looking at it with what WE are capable of doing. With all that being said, i am a common sense guy, when someone can show me how those thousand ton boulders were carved to precision and stacked together several stories high, I will listen with an openmind. So far a couple of scientists believe it was done with wooden rollers and the people themselves. There was no evidence of any kind of technolgy to help them do this. Thats where the mystery comes into play...

alright, I am just saying

we humans are weird , we like exciting and convoluted stories and are obsessed with Armageddon

look at the disaster shows, we ALL like them (including me)

same goes for interesting stories, our imagination is GREAT I believe

I am not saying "its all 100% bs" , I am just saying that just because we dont know how "x" was done , despite how impressive it looks we dont have to resort to something we havent seen at all!

I would LOVE for ETs to have visited Earth, but I find it very very unlikely. Imagine we could travel to the stars, WHERE would you go?? chances of finding life = small, intelligent life= even smaller!

if I was an ET I would tell those egyptian guys to put something in their pyramids saying "Made by contractors from Sirius" or "Proudly engineeried by Andromedans" and put a plaque of some weird alloy of iridium. Also "warranty valid until year 20503, if you need service look at THIS star"

we have nothing of that sort

in a few thousand years perhaps someone will say "ARE YOU KIDDING ME, these idiots? gone to the moon????? they cant spend 1 year without coming up with a new war!!!! they have their people starving! poor! just a few thousand miles .......or may be even ONE mile.....some are ultramegafat and die from it !

LOOK! its clear they could NOT have done a common effort to do that on their own, they must have had help from somewhere"

I am just saying, I am all for ETs but I dont believe they have visited us, unfortunately.

ok i'll shoot...what do you think about the ridiculous number of ufo sightings every year?

you mean like what happened with the satellite that was coming down that was "reported???" all over the world when in fact only a few sections could see it???

people reported it from TX when it was only visible from like British Columbia or something like that

also see episode of history channel about the guys that worked in Area 51.......now that they can talk (stuff has been declassified....) the origin of many "OVNIs" has come to light

If you just look at the building of the Pyramids in Egypt, there is no way that the Egyptians built them by themselves, and had to have had help in building them. Just look at how they align with stars in the sky so perfectly and how the blocks were so perfectly out together.

There are just too many coincidences around the world with other buildings and such that someone had to be helping them build these things.

And one other thing. What about that guy who drew a map and showed areas of the world that coould only be seen from the air, and the land masses under the Artic and Antartic. Those areas hadn't even been explored at that time.

One other thing that is unusual. Betty Hill who's abduction came out under hypnosis, drew a map of where these aliens said they came from. It was aboput 10 years or so later that we finally discovered that there was such a star system. How do you explain that?

about people on maps be precise, who is 'the guy'?

I am still waiting for someone to show me where it SAYS that they built it, you think the Egyptians how documented a lot of stuff simply 'forgot' to mention that they hired external contractors to help them build the pyramids????????

the coincidence here is this: THERE IS NO TRACE OF ANYTHING SO IMPORTANT like people coming from the stars and helping building stuff, you would think that someone would mention it SOMEWHERE

the egyptians were obsessed with astronomy. also they had more slaves than any other civilization in history.

pretty weak.

If David shot the giant fella with a sling shot, where did he get the inner tube to make the sling?

I'd still like to see a regiment of illegal Mexicans move these stones with ancient technology.
