My favorite standby is Sweet Baby Rays. PBS cooking rated KC the best in taste tests.
When I cater BBQ events, these are the two homemade sauce recipes I have perfected. One is a more traditional style sweet and smoky BBQ sauce and one is a take on a tangy South Carolina style sauce, which is amazing on pulled pork and chicken. They are both posted here:

So Sweet Baby Rays is Better than Bulleye ??
I like to mix a little Sweet Baby's with Open Pit gives it a little more tang. If you like it a little sweeter you can add Duck Sauce to either one.
IMO Rays is the best off the shelf.
