Kershaw strikes out the side in the 6th. Now has 9. Pitch count at 82. He's got plenty left. Don't see the Giants scoring with him on the mound.

That should be enough to win for the Dodgers! Definitely a winner with the +1.5

With a pitch count of only 82, see no reason that Kershaw shouldn't be able to complete this game.

BTW OMT, I think the Giants have something in this Belt kid. He's been taking some good looking swings against some tough lefties and seems to hit the ball hard a lot. I'm impressed with what I've seen out of him.

Lincecum at 106. He could go one more inning before turning it over to the pen. But, just don't see the Giants scoring against Kershaw. Likely a 1-0 final IMHO.

The Giant have been bringing him along carefully but could wait no longer as Huff has been poor all year and has a bad back while Belt was hitting around .450 at Fresno of late. He is the future first baseman for the Giants no question.

Keppinger just picked up yesterday from the Astros to play second base on a daily basis. Sanchez likely won't be back for the rest of the season Miguel Tejada is now on the DL. Keppinger is hitting .307. A good addition to the Giants.

That brings up another question: What are they going to do with Huff when his back gets better? Shierholz (sp) has been playing well, and Torres and Ross have too. Is Huff odd man out/pinch hitter? He's pretty much a liability in the outfield.

When the season started, Belt was playing first base and Huff was playing right field, horribly I might add. He is too slow and can't cover that big right field at AT&T Park. Doubt he gets put it the outfield, particularly with Scherholtz, Torres, Ross and Rowand available and hitting. Huff was signed to a two year $22 million dollar contract but he understands that Belt is the future. He is a team guy. If Bochy asks him to sit, he will and play when asked or pinch hit. Very much like Burrell (currently on the DL).
