To be honest, the French are a bunch of America haters.....but that being said, the late 90's was the era of drug use in sports that will probably go down as the worst ever. I think he did use and I've felt that ever since the 60 minutes piece 2 years ago. At least in those first few, he was doped, as were apparently many other riders from the 99 test after the fact. So sadly, I believe he did. That isn't to say the was the French did this, with no B sample and in a newspaper along with slurs against Lance shows what scum they are. God forbid an American win this. Remember Lance is ranked #3 among their most hated athletes. Shumacher number 1 and the guy gives 10 million to charity. They hate winners....

I used to think that this guy cheated way back when until i found out what an amazing human specimen this guy is. Actual scientific tests have been performed on this guy that show any sceptic that he is unbeatable in this sport.. The size of his heart, the physiology of this whole body, even the way his lungs work are all far superior to the average human being or every rival biker that ever faced him and all have been scientifically tested and measured with astounding results.

This guy is the most tested athlete in the entire world...Bar none!!!

Believe it or not, he is clean and he earned every damn win he got!!! he is the Barry Sanders of the biking world!!!

tough one. These tests were from '99 which should be past any kind of statute of limitations for this kinda thing.

I'd like to say no he never used, but when you have other guys like Greg LeMond accusing him as well it does make it tough to believe he did it completely clean.

I have never ever heard/seen/read any concrete evidence about how Mcguire has a heart that is way larger than a normal heart and this has been proven by scientific tests, i have never ever read any where that Sosa's lungs operate at an efficiency way over the average athlete, another verified scientific fact, i have never ever read anywhere that mcguire's body can eliminate acid build up at a rate faster the average athlete!!!

Matter of fact, Sammy sosa and mcguire total dope tests do not even equal half the tests Armstrong went through!!!!

I only deal in facts, not innuendo and sure as hell not some flimsy retest of a b sample from 99!!!

For the last two years, these steroid rumours have turned the sports world upside down. Matter of fact these accusations were made well before the last two years as an example.. So if one is saying that Armstrong had no idea that at this level they would testing for such agents as was found in his 1999 sample, he would have a clue as to when it was time to stop doping about two year ago...

Do you know how Armstrong dominated the competition in the last two years of the tour!!!! He totally ate up his rivals and discarded them on the road ways of france...If if was off the dope how could he achieve this?
Did you know that the last two tours were the hardest routes ever mapped in the history of the tour...Yet the same man managed to totally wipe his rivals off the mountains of france and come away with mind blowing leads!!!

What you guys are saying makes totally no sense...

Can you guys even tell us how those known base ball cheats are doing today!!! Is sammy sosa engaged in a home run race as we speak...I dont even keep up with base ball, but i am willing to guess that at this point in the season Sosa doesnt even have half his previous number of home runs!!!

What about that idiot with the giants, or that stupid cow that cheated the whole world and won four gold at the olympics!!! How many races has she blown up the competition, matter of fact how many did she come in second or even third!!!!

Maybe you missed Outside the Lines a few nights ago. A rider from his team in 2000, says he found a vial of drugs in Lance's refrigerator and was threatened....There was also the problem of the disposal of syringes and blood paks from the American team for a number of years....Dude, he can have the biggest heart in the world, and great lungs, it doesn't mean he didn't use.

His test result may have stemmed from some drug he took during his cancer fighting years. Kemo leaves the body weak so often doctors prescribe medication to increase the blood to keep up the immunity and vigor of the patient. I have no evidence, but it fits what is going on. I am sure the French have tested every B sample Lance has given so if there were other questionable results from other years we would have herd about it. He still won all of those 6 other tours clean; it is hard to believe he needed to juice up before the 99 tour. Regardless of the motivation of the newspaper, when the test was conducted, etc. the facts remain that it was HIS sample and it tested positive for EPO. You either believe that someone deliberately tainted the sample by putting EPO in there or you believe he's guilty as hell.
