Occasionally, when there has not been a payout for a long time and the payout gets into the 100's of millions, it can be +ev. The # of people entering does not go up proportionately to the increase in payout.
Is it true Canadians get to play parlays at the local gas stations same way we play lottery here in the US?
When you account for taxes, none of those $300 million jackpots come close to +EV, especially now that the odds are a lot worse than they were 10 to 15 years ago
And I don't mean someone who plays $1 a week or something like that but the people who spend $5 or $10 a day?
I just think they have better chances of betting that on sports and winning over the long run.
I have played this up to $500 a night on rare occasions<table style="border: 1px solid rgb(51, 102, 153); margin: 15px auto 10px; width: 99%;" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr class="TrGameOdd"><td style="vertical-align: top; text-align: left;">Oct 07 09:39 PM
