What i saw last night was the same old Cavs ... There's just not a "Whole" team like GS is.
Which just shows you that every time the Cavs got close ( and even had the lead for a second ) GS Defense made the stops and Cleveland couldn't defend/stop GS shooting.
Just think, Curry had only 11 points. But what about the OTHER guys .... You need to have a game plan to defend, Cavs were empty ...

The difference in ball movement was staggering. When things got tight the Warriors worked it for the best shot. The Cavs stood around while they watched Kyrie dribble the air out of the ball.
I thought the Cavs defensive gameplan was pretty sound. A lot of the shots Livingston, Iguodala and Barbosa hit were contested, they had some success forcing Curry into some careless TO's. It wasn't anything that would work for an entire series, but there probably isn't anything that would work for an entire series. When you have mediocre personnel playing against an elite offensive team you have to mix and match, pick your poison and can't really take away everything.
It's just that it is a finals game and people aren't used to that type of discrepancy in offense vs defense matchups.

cavs are going to stick with their gameplan in game 1
as long as they hold curry and klay to sub 40% shooting, they will want gsw's bench to beat them.
yes, barbosa (5/5) and livingston (8/10) wrecked them, but cavs will gamble on that to happen each game. from a coaching perspective, i'd rather challenge the bench to win a championship series rather than letting either klay or curry go off.
i expect tristan thompson and jr smith to probably go big at least 1 game as they will be able to dominate the paint. cavs will get their shot as i think they will continue to outrebound gsw on the offensive glass.
all will be for naught tho as gsw will take this series in 6

My comment on coaching was on rotations and the offensive end. The lack of ball movement and the hero ball that took over early in the 4th quarter. Defensively the Cavs were actually better than I expected. They have certain limitations that they really aren't going to overcome. For example, there is no good matchup for Kyrie defensively. He's either guarding someone he can't stay in front of or someone who can shoot over him.
