For those that think they have a shot at Torrie Wilson, this from the wrestling website, Lordsofpain.net...

Torrie Wilson & Billy Kidman going through divorce
Submitted by Jason Stone on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 7:50 PM EST

The following is from Torrie Wilson's MySpace.com page:

"Hey everybody!

Well, I have decided to let you in on a secret that I have been holding in for much too long. I am very heartbroken to say that I am in the stages of a divorce. It makes me incredibly sad to say this and I hope that you will respect me and my privacy at this really difficult time. This is just something that has been eating at me for some time now, and I feel it's best to hear it straight from me rather than read it somewhere else. I think I have made things harder on myself by pretending that everything is fine and dandy to the outside world. I just pray that by opening up about this now, it might be easier to move forward in my life journey.

I just want to tell all of you that you have helped me so much more than you will ever know with your kind words without even knowing it. When I am feeling really down, reading the nice things you have to say has brought a smile to my face. That truly means the world to me and I will never forget it.

I really do love and appreciate all of you......sunny skies ahead!"

I have about 100+ Apter Mags and other various kayfabe mags from the 70s and early 80's. Great stuff, very creative writers. Many of whom are now mainsteam sports writers and figures like Peter King(NFL), Randy Gordon(Boxing, ex NYS Ahletic Commish).

its called Marriott room 210 or room something or other

in the prom he tell the room number in the Marriott he and the horseman are staying in

and he says how they woman will be screaming " stop, no , dont i cant take it " as he lays the wood

Marriott 806

Ric Flair is probably the only wrestler around who could mention Bruce Springsteen, Dusty Rhodes, and the Boston Celtics in the same promo and still have your attention.

The “Marriott 806” promo consisted of Ric Flair responding to Nikita Koloff, who said The Nature Boy's days as champion were numbered. While sexuality in wrestling would become popular years later, Flair definitely helped set the trend. Once again proving that he was ahead of his time, Flair discussed the girls that The Four Horsemen were coming to find in Minneapolis.

  1. “At about the 20 minute mark in Philadelphia, you were like all the girls at the Marriott in room 806 when JJ turned out the lights. The Horsemen were all in position. We were all hollerin’ and screamin’! We were raisin’ the roof! And all of a sudden the girls hollerin’, STOOOOOOP! WE CAN’T TAKE ANYMORE! THAT WAS YOU, NIKITA! The referee heard ya! I heard ya! Ya said, ‘Nature Boy, I can’t handle it anymore! You’re too much man!’”

reminded me of this ..

Its funny watching this now because growing up it felt so real, not just to me but to the audience.
even though looking at it now, I laugh at myself for thinking how something this stupid and staged could have tricked so many people.

And then I think of all the fake/staged stuff in the news that people think is real today.
