Didn't Romo get a first down after the bad snap?

Yeah just saw the youtube replay. The second replay with Martina "trying" to block the rusher says it all. Plus from the endzone shot, it looked like he had both hands on the ball and wasn't carrying it like a RB.

I agree that I thought He was short but not by much .... review seemed in order. I actually thought as the play was going that Romo was going to score. Great tackle from behind won it for Seattle !

Seem like Romo was running slow and was not going full speed but who knows

What an ending ! Not once but twice Dallas came up 1/2 yard short. Both calls seemed correct to me however.

He was 3/4 of a yard away from first down..

Down about a 1/4 yard pass the 2yd line.. Damn one more half sec he would of had first down.. Dallas was just destined to lose tonight..

Problem was the defender was coming on a full sprint (Minus the small block/run over from the kicker) and Romo had to start from a complete standstill..... He never had a chance to get up to speed.

Now I dont think Romo realized he could get a first down. I think he thought he had to score. If he knew he only needed to get inside the one, you have to think with 4 guys closing in, he would have dove...
