Thank you Winky...anyone can see Vitale is a sincere man...yes he can be overboard, yes he loves Duke and he will take up for coaches he's friendly with, but the man is college basketball and really cares.

He would not have called any of these games anyway, he's not with CBS.

i know he wouldn't have called any games - but as much as he would have been in the espn studios and done their shows he would have gotten as much face time - or more - than if he had done a game or two for the cyclops network
