Couldn't pull the trigger on the Yanks. The lineups scared me away (especially with Flaherty and Enrique Wilson).
Yanks only have one player hitting over .276 (Sheffield, .297). I know this stat is a bit misleading (for example, Jeter has been hitting well), but still...guys like Lofton/Giambi/Bernie are obviously washed up.
Meanwhile, Detroit has FOUR guys @ .325 or better.
Yanks are reminding me of the Lakers this year. You look @ their players, you look @ their stars...they should easily win, right? But something just aint right.
As for pitching, is there really any difference between Bonderman and Halsey? I don't trust either of them.
