Derek Carr is a top 10 quarterback

Many forget he racked up TD's with a washed up James Jones, and nobodies in Andre Holmes, Brice Butler and Danarious Moore. Darren McFadden and Marcel Reece were his RB's SO HE HAD NO RUNNING GAME.

He was the 7th ranked QB in 2014 and that was his rookie year!!

Don't take this the wrong way because I think Carr is great and only going to get better, but by what metric was he the 7th ranked QB in '14? He wasn't very good in 2014 at all.

So he was 7th in attempts? That isn't "7th ranked". They were 3-13, of course he was throwing it 40 times a game.

He was 30th in completion percentage, 19th in yards, 15th in TDs, and 30th in QB Rating. He was decent for a rookie but he definitely wasn't the 7th ranked QB.
