Carr engineered a six-play, 66-yard drive in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter. Not to knock him, cause I really like the kid and root for him, and start him on one fantasy team.
But man he has a couple great receivers and a great O-line, and gets to put it up 40 times a game. Lotta guys would be putting up gaudy numbers in that situation.
He's making throws and winning games though, gotta give him that. Had raiders large yesterday, Janikowski took a couple years off my life but it was worth it in the end.

As the talk of a possible NFL Most Valuable Player award builds for RaidersquarterbackDerek Carr, so do the expectations that a new blockbuster deal is right on the horizon for him.
The Raiders are prioritizing a new deal for Carr after this season, and a league source expects that deal "to be Luck-ish," a reference to the five-year, $123 million contract that Andrew Luck signed with Indianapolis this past summer. This offseason will be the first time Carr can sign an extension with Oakland.
Carr is completing 66.3 percent of his passes and has a passer rating of 100.9 for the Raiders, who are 6-2 and in a first-place tie in the AFC West with Denver. The Broncos and Raiders face each other Sunday night.

Many forget he racked up TD's with a washed up James Jones, and nobodies in Andre Holmes, Brice Butler and Danarious Moore. Darren McFadden and Marcel Reece were his RB's SO HE HAD NO RUNNING GAME.
He was the 7th ranked QB in 2014 and that was his rookie year!!
