Curt Gowdy is the voice I grew up with listening to sports as a kid. Even up to today, he is my favorite sports announcer of all time. And to think NBC replaced him with Joe Garagiola on NBC's Baseball's game of the week. What a joke that was, since Garagiola was only interested in one liners that weren't funny instead of respecting the game the way Gowdy did. You can add Garagiolas name to my "I don't recognize "as a baseball announcer.
