Can anyone tell me why the yankees are favored by so much tonight?

Lackey has won his last 3 straight games and he seems to be getting stronger - his last outing he went 9 shutout innings and gave up only 3 hits and 1 walk...

Yes it wasnt against the yankers but on the other side lieber has done nothing this year except lay eggs.

Anaheim at +142 looks like a good deal right?

Am I missing something?

taking a shot here when I know I should be taking more time off. I admit I wouldnt have looked at but since everyone here is on it I did check in to it some more and it does make sense to me.

The jays were all over these guys the last time they faced radke with 10 hits and 4 runs over his 7 innings in the game. In radke's last outing (vs SEATTLE) he also gave up 10 hits but only 3 runs. My guess is that hits in toronto are more likely to score run because the park is bigger and the turf is bouncier...

Also in that last meeting lilly went the distance allowing only 2 hits and 1 run.

Heres hoping he continues that success - for tonight anyway.
