Thinking about dodgers tomorrow

The freak might wake up dodger bats

The freak is a wildcard to me this year. my first thought is that pittsburgh looks good. I'll take a deeper look at everything in the morning.

On a little 3 game winning streak here, let's keep it going today with a couple dogs

Padres +139 Risk 71.94 to Win 100

Orioles +108 Risk 92.59 to Win 100

While the Padres are more of a situational play here, there is no reason for Baltimore to be a dog going up against Hernandez, who has been atrocious.

That's two straight clean sweeps and today was two dogs which makes it even sweeter. 5 wins in a row total. Let's keep it going tomorrow.

Tigers -175 NY seems outmatched in this game on the mound and in the batter's box. Don't usually lay this kind of chalk but this game sets up for easy Det Win.

Phillies -118 This is a situational play on Philadelphia. Although it does help that Davis has struggled as a starter and was very poor last year when he faced the Phillies as a reliever. The Royals have also never faced Kendrick, so that uncertainty should help our cause.

Athletics -146
Peacock had a 6.01 ERA in AAA last year and the Astro's are, well the Astro's. While Strailey is nothing special, he should be good enough (3.89 ERA last season) to handle Houston's bats. I like the price here.

All dog's yesterday, All chalk today. GL everybody.

3-1 (+$182)

Decent day. Although the Phillies stopped us from having a clean sweep for the third day in a row by blowing a 4-0 lead with an atrocious showing from the bullpen. Pretty pathetic display by this team on their home opener and it's definitely something to keep in mind going forward. Still, can't complain on a profitable day. It's been a solid start to the season, and I'll be back tomorrow to build on it.

Nationals +107 Risk $93.46 to Win 100 - I always like to play against a team that had a huge offensive explosion in their previous game. In this case, Cincy had 15 and Washington was shut out. Plus, I'll take Detwiler and his 3.0 ERA against the Reds over Leake and his 5.13 ERA against the Nats. Not to mention Leake struggled mightily in spring training. To top it all off, have to love the Nationals as a dog here.

Mariners -135 Risk $135 to Win $100 - King Felix at only -135 going up against a guy that had an ERA of over 5.0 last season. Enough Said.

Rockies -143 Risk $143 to Win $100 - First of all, the padre's are downright awful at the plate. I was lucky enough to be on the right side of their one win this season and it was an ugly 2-1 victory that was hard to watch. The Rockies on the other hand have some offensive weapons that they displayed last season and so far this year. Tyson Ross starting for the Padres and in his two full seasons he has an ERA above 5.0. Last year he was at 6.5. Garland starting for Colorado didn't play at all last season recovering from shoulder surgery. Garland is a consistent pitcher when healthy and he can be relied on to be at about the 3-4.0 ERA range. And as we know, the padre's bats don't blow anyone away and I think he will pitch a solid game.

GL everybody

Tough first loss of the Day with the mariners. They came back to get within one and had guys on first and second with only one out but couldn't push the tying run through. A lot of pressure to sweep with the Nationals (currently leading by 2 in extra innings), Detroit (currently tied 1-1), and Colorado (8:00pm). Have to go 3-0 for a profitable day. Yet to take a loss on a full day of betting and I would hate to start here.
