Nothing is coming easy today. Nationals blow a 5-1 lead and barely win in extra innings. Now detroit has done the same and blown a big lead. Sweating all these out today. Still, if detroit can hang on and Colorado take care of business tonight, it will be a profitable day.

Justin, quit bumping your own threads. If you win, people will notice you. Don't worry.

If you aren't discussing the plays or the games please stay out of my picks thread. If you want to argue head over to the offshore forum, you can bicker like a woman to your hearts content over there.

Further comment's unrelated to this thread will just be ignored so don't waste your time.

Then just ignore me. What you are doing is trying to bump your own threads to the top of the page so people can see if you win or not. I'll go ahead and make sure and bump your threads when you fall flat on your face as well.

BTW - I've hit 14 out of my first 19 posted plays. Not one bump to tell you how good I'm doing.

3-1 (+$165)

Another solid day. A base hit away in the Seattle game from a clean sweep. I'll never complain on a profitable day though. A pretty good opening week that I will try to close out strong tomorrow.

Reds +108 Risk $92.59 to Win $100 - Cueto pitching at home as a dog. I could end the explanation right there as that is almost an insta-play. Strasburg faced Miami in his first start and the Red's will pose a much greater challenge. We cashed betting the Nationals yesterday, and in a game where they hit 5 home runs they barely squeeked out an extra innings win against this tough cincy team. Cueto will limit the long ball and while Strasburg is a beast he is still hittable, and was hit pretty hard last time he faced Cincinnati. The red's take the series today.

Angels +131 Risk $76.34 to Win $100 - Love this one. Darvish is being way overvalued here coming off a near perfect game against the lowly Astro's. The Angel's lineup is much better then the Astro's (understatement of the year) and YU has shown some vulnerability at times. On the other side, Jared Weaver is consistently fantastic. +131 is a price we may never see on him again. Great value here.

Two dogs today. The good thing about a day like this is we only need to split to profit for the day, even if it's not a big one. And even if it happens to be an 0-2 day we won't be breaking the bank. But let's end this first great week of baseball with a day in the green. GL everybody and enjoy your Sunday.

1-1 (+$23.66)

Split on the day. Not great but since we went dogs still a profit. Made money every day this week so no complaints. Nothing to get too excited about yet but hopefully we can build on this momentum.

I always say that every lesson in baseball betting is an expensive one. I try to take a learning point away from (almost) every loss that can help me improve in the future. Doesn't have to be groundbreaking, but this way every loss can help me learn something. Tonight I learned that the angels bullpen is worse then I thought. I hope everyone had a successful weekend.

It's Monday and back to the grind. I hope you guy's had an awesome weekend. For those of us in the midwest, it really nice to get outside and enjoy that nice weather. Let's start the week off with some winners shall we.

Mets +106 Risk $94.34 to Win $100 - This one starts with two pitchers heading in the opposite directions. Matt Harvey is ultra talented and had a 2.73 ERA in 10 starts last season and was brilliant in his first game this year. Halladay on the other hand was bad last season and worst to start 2013. And Harvey is a dog? Thanks we'll take it. As we learned the hard way last week it's not like the horrid Phillies bullpen will do them any favors.

Giants -150 Risk $150 to Win $100 - Colorado is improved but 5-1 won't stick. They can't keep up this pace. Bumgarner is a consistently great pitcher, especially at home and especially against Colorado. Veteran pitcher Jorge De La Rosa has been pretty bad his whole career in the Major's and he has been especially ineffective in his limited starts the past two seasons. Colorado is good at the plate, but they are vastly outmatched on the mound tonight. The Giants will bring them back down to earth here.

GL everybody. Have a great week.
