THE BETFAIR CANADA CHALLENGE

We’ve created the Betfair Canada Challenge to help you get started with Betfair. It’s a great way to try the different bets on offer at Betfair and win some great free prizes. There are three tasks; all involve placing a different type of bet on Betfair.

How to claim your prize:

Challenge 1 : Thursday, Dec 18 - Tuesday, Dec 22
To claim your prize, you need to place each of the bets below. You can place each of them on any market on the exchange (excluding exchange games) and they can be placed individually, at different times if you like.

1. A back bet on any market on the exchange – not including exchange games
2. A lay bet on any market on the exchange – not including exchange games
3. A bet in play on any market on the exchange – not including exchange games

SPECIFIC TERMS

• Once you have placed your bets on Betfair (i.e. you have completed all the tasks in the Challenge, please PM (personal message) Rx Moderator Sportsavant.
• The email should contain your Betfair username, your Rx username, delivery address, the date you registered on Betfair and the date each bet was placed so I can quickly verify the times in our database and declare a winner.
  
• Your PM will be timestamped by Sportsavant and he will pass the information on to me. I will verify that you have succesfully completed the challenge and your winning time. I will announce the 3 winners in the forum on Tuesday (22nd December) morning.
• Please allow some time for your prize to arrive at your address.
• Unmatched or voided bets will not be counted towards completing challenge tasks.
• This promotion is available in addition to any offer you may have been given when signing up to Betfair.

13. Unless otherwise specified in writing, in the event that you are required to travel to take part in any event, you are responsible for making all your own arrangements (including insurance).
14. Betfair reserves the right to amend any tournament rules or these Terms and Conditions at any time.
15. Betfair accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any end user during any of these promotions.
16. Betfair and its affiliates and subsidiaries, or any of their employees, officers or directors shall not be liable for any damages howsoever arising as a result of a participant’s or winner’s participation in an event or any such modification, alteration, discontinuance or termination of any tournament, and any such liability shall be borne solely and exclusively by the participant or winner, as the case may be.
17. You agree that these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England.
18. The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to these terms and no rights or benefits expressly or impliedly conferred by it shall be enforceable under that Act against the parties to it by any other person.

Thanks for the question.

Yes we do take Visa and Mastercard. If you have a Royal Bank or Scotiabank card, these banks don't allow transactions to online gambling companies and you should use Moneybookers instead.

Dear betfair i have been with you for the last 6 years .I don't wager much with you .
One of the reasons (main reason) Deposit options .
I have account with moneybookers works just great .Except (i need to call my bank for an appointment then wait 2-3 for my money to get their) High fees on the bank transfer.
This days if i wanna make a bet i just do it with the Greek or Bet Jamaica .
My favorite bet365.Much better options and varieties of bets by far.
You have the highest odds (most of the time and a markets).

With the books above If i wanna bet / wager $1000 or more, one hour prior of the game all i have to do .Just visit WU office near by ,deposit $300 or more and i don't even have to pay any fees .

2. These are the sizes we have left right now. There will be many more contests coming up and will have some more ordered by then.

3. Large depositors should simply ask what I can do for them RE: fees. Our policies are flexible and assessed as when the request comes through. For example, one of the Rxers asked me to lower their commission rate because they were going to make a large deposit, wanted to try Betfair out and would be betting large volumes (thus lowering commission naturally, anyway)

4. I updated Canada payments page here...I am working on updating those pages up there as well. It's a BIG company and these improvements take time - very safe and secure though!!

TNX Rob for your reply .I believe you are talking about BLUE FORM-"Quick-Pay". I could be wrong .
Again if i am not mistaken WU in Canada doesn't have this type of forms .
We only have "Quick collect" and "Person to person". Non of them would support required fields . I try that years ago at 2or3 different locations i even called WU ,i was told that "Quick-Pay" is not available in Canada. WU took them out about 7 years ago.

Overall you are doing great job by helping out new punters .
Promos and lowering commission. I got some Bonus Bets from you too.Bet20 get 20 free . You guys been calling me all summer .

PS BQ lowered my commision to a 2%.All i had to do just mention your company name.%^_
