Yea, I saw that after I hit enter. I agree somewhat though. I believe it's more a cause of inflated lines than anything else. After watching NE destroy their opponents early on the lines got ridiculous. The only point I was making was that aside from betting, winning by 1 or 30 is the same.

Moss was nowhere today? Not in the gameplan? Wrong, because he was a huge portion of SD's gameplan, which is what extremely talented receivers cause teams to do. SD doubles or even triple covers Moss and Welker is open for a 10-15 yard strike...or Stallworth, or Gaffney.

Just because Moss didn't have huge reception numbers does not mean he didn't contribute to the team's win.

I was more impressed how they won as team today as any game they played all year.Old fashioned kick em in the balls Patriot football...Running and defense and heads up play.
All this shit about being soft...They ran down Jacks'ville throat and then LaDanian Maroney ran around SD.

FYI..Regarding The Chargers and Patriots..

Since January 14th of 2007 (just a few days over 1 year) the Pats beat the Chargers three times, including twice in playoff games (1 in San Diego) by a combined score of 83-48.


They pretty much have owned them the last year. During the last two NFL seasons the Chargers were 26-6 against the rest of the NFL and 0-3 against the Patriots.

New England played terrible. New England won. That's what great teams do.

Brady had one of the worst days of his career - not sure if it was SD or the wind, but anyways, he played terrible, and yet NE won.
