The Patriots beat The Chargers (Twice), The Giants, Dallas, Washington,
Indianapolis, Pittsburg, and Jacksonville (all playoff teams), plus wins over Cleveland,
Cincinnati, and Philadelphia so far this year. I am not sure what else they can do. I guess beat Green Bay in the Super Bowl but all of sudden they have to not only win but cover to be considered any good. Eight wins over playoff teams in the same season, could easily be an NFL record.

who only played two teams with winning records (in the regular season).

They held a high powered offense (ask the Colts) to 12 points today and no touchdowns..Their defense has a scheme that is going to bend a little but it doent break.
Look at the last six quarters of playoff football against two red hot teams - The Jaguars and The Chargers. The Patriot Defense has allowed no touchdowns and 6 field goals for a total of 18 measely points.

Given today's extremely liberal rules favoring offenses that is an amazing Steel Curtain like performance.
