We will never win this battle, but we can hope that atleast one bookmaker reads and says "you know what, they are right"

We can only hope

I have even known a book to sanction a player and tag him as professional FOR LOSING TOO MUCH. One of the people I share info with told me the story of how he kept losing over and over at a certain book and kept reloading and getting a bonus each time. This went on for a long period of time.

So at some point, he went to take a payout and the book started making up all kinds of unpublished rules to sanction him. They increased his rollover requirements many times. Apparently the guy at the sportsbook acted very victimized and got very belligerent about it saying, "You have gotten over $3000 in bonuses here!!" (or whatever it was.)

It was true but the guy had lost every penny of that bonus money - plus the deposits that earned those bonuses - back to the book - (up until the last deposit of course).

If a solvent gaming site is defined as a business which can pay off all players balances on a given day, then there are very few solvent books in relation to the 3k gaming sites online today.

General, I was reading the thread and thought you were talking about my situation with My Bookie. then I saw the date the thread was started. :)

How little things have changed since then.

If a book wants a certain type of gambler, they should have rules and limits that correspond with what they want. It is retarded to claim you only want recreational bettors and then have unlimited deposit bonuses and high limits on wagers. Then they resort to cheating and stealing when people take them up on their offer and follow their guidelines.

This is not to say I had a huge deposit at My Bookie, it was only 2K. But someone with a huge bankroll could have put in a lot more.

This is why I have always defended Gameday against their many bashers here. At least their bonus rules and wager limits corresponded with the type of player they specifically said they want.
