I'll join you guys for this season. I'll keep my comments to a minimum since I'm not that knowledgeable, but I'm smart enough to trail you MJ, instead of throwing my $$ around aimlessly. Pitchers have very little, if anything, to do with baseball. I'm not even sure why they are on the field in the first place. I would love to see the sport eliminate them.

yep I went back and read my post it sounded pretty dumb. I think I was tired when i wrote that i just meant that it's a lot to factor in all the different posible pitching senerios. Just seems way more complicated that basketball.

I can understand why you would say that JCutler. That is why we let MJ's pc do all that work for us though. Basketball has 12 guys on both benches and usually only 8 or 9 get in the game for any length of time. MLB has at least 9 hitters on both sides facing anywhere between 3-6 different pitchers.

Put it on auto-pilot JCutler and let MJ's pc telll you where to put your $$. That way you can spend the summer reading your new playbook so as not go Favre.

Pitchers are the most important factor in baseball

For example Matsuzaka blanked the Devil Rays...If Boston had 5 Matsuzakas they would've killed the Devil Rays

You gotta have a great pitching rotation and most of the time the rest of the bullpen isn't as good as your main pitcher

MJ, does you system take into account the umpire calling the game to any degree? I saw a post in another forum that had the percentage of games that went under for each umpire. Surprisingly, there seemed to be a significant skew in either direction for certain umpires. Let me know if you'd like to see the post and i'll pm it to you.

For all you guys saying pitchers are the most important factor in baseball I suggest you read a book Titled Moneyball after reading that I would say on base percentage is the most important factor in baseball.

I just can't please everybody cruisin...so I please myself.

I like the one thread concept because it gives me a home base for all my information...I can go back and read through it...sometimes it helps me notice trends or gain insight. And it's just a lot easier for me.

If it's really a problem...I think we can come up with something...people can repost my post with the pick...or something to make it easier.

Work with me...we can figure it out..but I want to keep it all here.
