The 3 very best in the world as far as great customer service.

AMAZON.COM is #1 barnone.
GEICO and APPLE are the other 2.
I believe Sears and their Craftsman products standup as all time number ones, of course the companies you quote may be good for start-ups!

HEB grocery stores in texas are in a class by themselves when it comes to this industry, which might not be saying much, but I have never come across an employee not willing to go out of there way for a customer.

Recently, I had the worst customer experience with Directv. After what happened, I can't see myself ever getting their services.

How much of the bad 1800 service is due to those jobs being outsourced to Mumbia? The last time I called directv I could not understand the rep

Funny you bring up cookware as that is the business I am in and I am glad you have had good experience with all-clad and le crueset, I can tell you however I have run into many people that have not found the same experience in regards to warranty. The have many exclusions and the main one that I have heard them use is that anytime you put one in a dishwasher, the warranty is voided. So make sure if you ever do need anything and they ask about dishwashers, just tell them you do not even own one.

That´s interestng - I used to manage a store that sold quite a bit of both, and they were always very good about it. That was, admittedly, 5+ years ago. I remember once a woman brought a stock pot in, and wanted to exchang it solely because it was used... All Clad rep said no problem.A shame if this has changed.

Verizon dominates the cell phone market. I used to work for them and soooooo many people told me how happy they were to actually speak to people they could understand after being with another company and getting sent overseas for tech support.

DirecTV customer support was the worst for me back in the day.

I agree Jake. I was just going to chime in here about them.

I recently had a contract job where I had to use the phone a lot because I was working remotely. I thought I had unlimited minutes but found out when I got my bill that I did not.

I called the C/S center to change my plan and the C/S Rep actually gave me a break on my bill without me asking for it! I spoke with his Supervisor about his good service and she announced it to the whole call center and everyone clapped for him.

Att is the absolute worse, Nextel had the title when I used them.

I agree about AT&T.

I had a cell phone plan through them and moved from one state to another. I tried making a call and it automatically went to their C/S Department. They said my cell phone plan was no good since I moved and I would have to mail them 2 copies of proof of address: a driver's license (which I had) and a utility bill. I was staying with my Mom temporarily so I didn't have a utility bill.

They said I would have until the 13th to mail it to them or my service would be cut off. They cut off my service around the 10th which caused me to get their C/S Department when I dialed another number. When I asked to speak to a Supervisor the C/S Rep asshole said "he won't tell you anything different that I told you" as if he knew what Supervisors would say.

I printed out my new address on a piece of paper and taped it over my bank statement with my old address. I made a copy of that and faxed it to them. Stupid fuckers.

After I got a new carrier they didn't send back my deposit. I had to call to ask for it. The lady said they keep the deposit for 6 months in case someone wanted to return back to AT&T. How messed up is that? They eventually sent me my deposit.
