He is not on crack. He's selfish.

The "best record this decade" is about HIM.

16-0 is about the players on the team and the coaches.

He thinks the decade record means more. Selfish bastard.

This post was so clueless, I thought about ignoring it. Then I decided to reply.

The Colts did NOT decide shit. The players who went 14-0 had no say. Peyton Manning didn't like the decision.

Bill Polian decided. Caldwell decided. They didn't go 14-0 so it was easy for them to say it wasn't important.

So what was important? Most wins in a decade!!!!!!

The players did not decide to pull starters. Many Colts fans are upset. Many players must be upset. Peyton Manning is undoubtedly upset.

I saw the hurt facial expression on my favorite quarterback's face. He was indeed upset but mad props to him for not being a baby about it and carrying himself with class. He even insisted to the media that he and the coach were on the same page.

This is all quite easy to address. If Manning plays the 2nd half and goes down with a small injury, a season ending injury, or a career ending injury... what then? let's look at one extreme vs. another...

heads- the colts win out and the super bowl and go undefeated.

tails- manning is mangled beyond recognition and is done forever.

polian took manning out of the equation to flip a coin another day. big deal. nice move I think.

Polian is part of the Colts, Caldwell is part of the Colts. Both are extremely important players in this system. Never are you going to be on a "team" where everyone agrees. You go with what the boss says! Bottom line.

You say the players didnt decide to pull starters...There were a few starters that needed to be pulled for injury related reasons.

FYI...You should have just ignored it. Instead you make yourself look clueless.

This post doesn't make sense. What, it's impossible to get hurt in the 1st half? How can you say you're worried about injured when you played the starters in the 1st half? If you're worried about injuries you sit them out for the final two games.

Has Peyton ever been injured playing?

It doesn't matter though, Indy will choke like they always do.

Better than shitty regular season...and no post season.@)

Losers mentality. "Well, we suck when it counts but we've won the most games this decade!"

It's true, Indy = Atlanta Braves @)

Colts recently won a SuperBowl so they are proven winners and they will win again this season...GO COLTS!!

Resting Manning was their decision and that's what they get paid for. To make that choice. It's not a terrible decision. Who are we to judge sitting around on some forum on the internet acting like we know better than the coaches or presidents.

GO COLTS!! Been a fan for over a decade and always will be. Manning rules!

It doesn't bother me about the Texans, remember kiddo, I watched the Oilers since around 1972. It's funny to me that you're bragging about total wins in the decade when only one thing matters.

Hell, even with all the wins Indy isn't even the team of the decade. Funny how you're city is happy with playoff choking.

When you are the big man on campus like the Colts, everyone else is going to try to pick apart every decision you make. In the end even the special needs kids, the Texans or any of the other underachievers all would love to be in the Colts situation!
