Memphis -2.5/ 3.5 Played this one couple of days ago at 2.5 and 2, now at 3.5. Memphis had a great 2nd half, only losing a conference final to Houston, a team they beat twice earlier. Boise won't be a pushover, but Memphis should be athletically and defensively too much.

Michigan/ CSU under 64 1H Michigan's offense will struggle vs. this tough CSU D, and likewise CSU's offense can go through some scoring droughts.

Small:

Longwood +10.5 1H

UNC -4

Maybe another one later. Good luck RXers.

Hit on Memphis, lost other top play by a point. It seems like many of the favorites came to play this year. In the past, lots of closer games 1st round NCAA and in the early rounds of the NIT. As I speak, though, Iowa and Gonzaga are scuffling. Still... seems like coaches of the elite teams are skunking some of the lower seeded teams. All that being said:

Kentucky -10 1H/ -17 Talk about a team that should be motivated. They couldn't even make the NIT last season and got humiliated in the SEC. Also, now coming off a conference tourney loss to the Vols. St. Peters doesn't have much offensive firepower, and if Kentucky plays defense with some passion, they should roll.

This is a huge play for me:
Memphis +10 I have watched many Gonzaga games over the last few years, including this season. This is the weakest Gonzaga team in the last 4-5 seasons. Chet Holmgren really is a special player, but he has rarely been challenged by a C at his level all year. Duke and Alabama both beat Gonzaga because they could contain Holmgren reasonably well. Jalen Duren will do the same. Gonzaga also has 3 guys that get it done for them offensively, and except for St. Marys in their conference, they don't get challenged defensively all that much. Even with better Gonzaga teams of the past, their weak conference schedule does not prepare them for the physical nature and skill of the NCAA Tourney. So they never win the title. Memphis is a handful, and with Emoni Bates back, even more so. Would not be surprised to see them win this game, so a little on the ML.

Medium plays:
New Mexico St +6.5 Arkansas played Vermont a little too passively. If Vermont had a little more height and hit a few FTs 2nd half, they win. Also would not be surprised to see an outright upset here.

UNC +5.5 UNC's easy 1st round win was not a fluke. After getting beat by Duke at home, they have been the ACC's top squad. Their loss in the ACC final was a wakeup, but I think they'll give Baylor a tough game, and possibly upset them. Can both last year's finalists get beat on the same day in the 2nd round? Yes.

Tennessee -6
Michigan played a great 2nd half 1st round, but man, this team is full of flaws. The Vols just seem like a top 3 team right now and their team defense is really good right now.

Almost...Gonzaga almost lost, Baylor did. Still, a very profitable day. +10 was just too many points.

Sunday:
Houston -4.5 Houston's defense can be really tough on opposing ball handlers. Illinois had trouble with Chattanooga's backcourt, as they did at times during their season. Exciting, close game for them last game, and this could lead to slow start. Waiting for 1H line.

Texas Tech -7.5 Another high energy defense that seem to thrive in these tourney games. Notre Dame's season has been a success, plus 2 wins in the tourney already. Cinderella teams can fall badly at some point. Also, like Tech's offensive game in the past month. Also likely to play 1H.

Smaller:
TCU +10 The Big 12 has been the toughest conference all year, and there were no gimme games in conference play. Arizona is a very good team in transition pushing the ball quickly, but in a half court offense, they struggle to score vs. better defenses. TCU, to me, seems like they often play up to the competition they're facing.

Texas +3 Great 2nd half vs. a tough VT team. Almost dominant. Another Big 12 defensive minded team that has played better on the offensive end recently.

Iowa State +5 Guess I'm all in on the Big 12. Iowa State is physical and scrappy, and Wisconsin will have to work hard to score. Can ISU score enough to keep up? Maybe, maybe not. Smallest play.

Good luck Indy. The Houston spread opened at 3, jumped to 4.5, and is now at 3.5. Wish I had waited.

Arizona is really talented, but doesn't play with the intensity you need to win these tourney games. Very lucky to get by TCU.

WSU/ Texas A&M- under 135 Looking forward to the 1H line. Impressed by how well these two play defensively. Hope the 1H line is around 65.

Houston gets it done. One play so far today:

UNC +2.5 UNC seems like the hot team this tourney, and even before that. They need to play ALL 40 minutes, unlike their Baylor game- where they stopped being offensively aggressive 2H.
