As I said, 20 players max and final list will be in August.

I have a match ($500) from one of my old friends if Mack Donald wins OUR contest. Damn Mack, your posts always bring back so many good memories for so many of our old guys. You got to know many old timers are pulling for you. Mack wins = $1000.

Mack wins...I pay a five and friend pays five.

I think that sides and totals are the only thing it can be. What needs to be determined is the number of games that must be picked, and whether you can pick your own games or games from a list that everyone must play.

I personally don't care if this contest has eight or twenty players. Twenty is the limit and my friends will be the final judge who qualifies. This is about RX CFB men who promote the sport along with this fine site...nothing else.

If some of my friends get cocky....we'll increase the purse.

Bottom line is good picks for theRX.....helping the younger guys maybe.

Clover, will you be picking the games or will we? It would be a much more difficult task if everyone was allowed to pick their own games to wager on. I would think that for scoring purposes, the same games should be used, but that is just my opinion.

Final number invited will be 20. A committee of old football guys will determine who's in and who's out.

BD, theRX's own JOH is the key to this contest...he's the best in the business for running honest contest.

Like I said before...I don't care if the committee selects eight for the contest as long as I'm invited.

What about Conan? He is a big contributor in here. Also Roll Tide spends a lot of time in here. Red Eye is also another name that comes to mind. I am sure that there are others.

Clover, there is no way I can play any kind of contest outside of my own website. It would clash with the pay picks we make on the Saturday Edge. The customers we have there wouldn't like it very much. Otherwise, if it wasn't for that I would do it.

Heavens, I love this RX CFB forum................

Bigdaddy calling me out for not naming Conan and Roll Tide for OUR CONTEST. Hell, these guys battle each other with words like
Auburn vs Alabama sometimes...not pleasant is an understatement. Just goes to show you why we have the best CFB on the net. Hell, it was once chose to pistols between Bigdaddy and Conan. Loyalty matters to many old timers.
