I know you guys are blaming the parents but sadly you need legal action like this in order for changes to happen in this country. I think ProPokerPlayer is right on this.

After the first school shooting in 1999 in Columbine, that should have been the first and the last school shooting in America. They have not reacted properly to this situation.

Impossible to prevent events like this from happening. But they should do something to improve protection

They do need armed guards at every school. I'm talking about ex-army guys and tougher security and several scanners throughout the place.

Prior service guys are not the guys you want in schools. Scanners solve nothing. Scanners are to prevent students from bringing weapons in. A guy like Adam Lanza would've laughed at a scanner.

I should have rephrased and said, I don't genuinely wish the chid had died, but rather for the parents to experience what it would be like to lose a child, but instead they are greedy MFers.

Well, what's the solution? I've seen you shoot down a lot of ideas on how to solve this but not how to fix it.

There are no answers King. Unless you put kids in flak vests and schools in bunkers and disallow access from 9:00-3:00 then this can happen. This or you remove guns in America which isn't going to happen.

The focus on guns being the problem is truly amazing, the "problem" is mental illness, combined with a societal loss of respect for neighbors.

A side note, went to the movies this weekend, saw 4 or 5 previews, each and everyone showed non stop gun play, mayhem, etc. Guys just blasting away with weapons as a way of solving their problems. The weapons are not the problem, society, the media, the education system, and a host of other factors are the issue. None of which is even being discussed post tragedy.

Guns are not the sole issue but to think they don't contribute is just naive.

the shity part of this is that the f-ing parents will probably get a large sum of money. it wont be 100 mil but they will probably get over 1 million. meanwhile some people have legit lawsuits and get hosed. I personally am currently involed in a lawsuit where a women hit my car in the back end doing 50 mph cause she blacked out from a diabetic coma from not taking her medication correctly and as a result i have 4 herrniated dics and 8 pintched nerves in my neck. not a day goes by that i dont have neck pain at some point during the day and it was almost two years ago now. The insurance companies settlement offer to me was $3200. my medical bills are over 9k.

I'd sue em too. Why should my kids have to go to school and sit there like decoy ducks for anyone who wants to walk in and do anything they want. They are FORCED to go and spend 8 hours sitting in a "Gun Free Zone" while people who are "smarter than you" and "know whats good for you" ie: Democrats like the POTUS who send their kids to schools where there just happens to be 11 ARMED guards and NO "gun free zone".
Nobody finds it strange at all that all these laws they pass AGAINST YOU.....NEVER apply to THEM????
Im going to be forced to live like a pussy in a nation full of whimps then they damn sure ought to pay me .....O but i almost forgot...you have to have "Permission" from them to sue them.:think2:

QFT as I agree with you 100%

Those who don't grasp these concepts are the true idiots in this case. The same goes for those rallying against gun ownership. When will you idiots learn that the government never has or ever will protect you!

Why don't you provide the RX posting body just one thing the state of CT could've done to prevent this tragedy.

Yes, because there is an emminent threat of someone takeover my property right now and invading me. Why is it that rest of the world, where guns aren't as readily available doesn't seem to suffer the same fate?

I know I am going to get ripped for this, I wish that kid was shot and killed. These fucking cocksucker parents trying to cash in. There are acts in society that are unpreventable.

If I am willing to die, I can walk into a mall and blow 30-40 people away before I get capped and there is nothing anyone can do to prevent it.

I hope someone throws a moltav cocktail at the ABA offices. Too many fucking lawyers and too many fucking cocksuckers in society trying to cash in.

Sorry for the rant.

Maybe someone will shoot your family point blank, you sick fuck. To say you wish a kid got killed is beyond stupid. Please die soon.

That kind of comment should be enough to get you kicked off the forum. Please don't ever have kids you fucking piece of shit.

I wish your parents would have aborted you

Although I agree with you that his comment was ridiculous as I said on page one of this thread.
You turn around and make an equally ridiculous comment to him.

So wishing someone should be aborted is not as bad as saying they wish a kid got shot?

Help me here please.
