I know this will not matter to many of you, but I see alot of people are currently asking Chop why he put money on KC when it was expected that they were going to lose. My theory on plays like this is to parlay the high moneyline team (which was the yankees today) with another team that have supreme confidence in (which was the White Sox). This way your not taking a chance on losing alot of money by just single betting the yankees, but at the same time your making almost double on the White Sox. Just how I play it and I was curious to see if anyone else approaches these games like this instead of basically throwing away money just b/c the royals are +350?

Hi Chop...how Far Ahead In Updated Scores Are You Compared To Espn???????

In not way ahead. Just called the game knowing the Royals would not come back from 9-3 in the 9th.

Although I didn't play it today as I am trying to limit my plays to less than 4 or 5max per day...I tend to agree with choptalk that in the long run, these 300+ dogs have a positive expected value

You are not basically throwing money away on the Royals at +356 if you soundly believe that they can win that matchup 22% of the time. Maybe you will lose the play today, but by the end of the season I will hit enough of these dogs to make it more than worth my while.

Last season I had tampa bay against the Yankees in a 4 game series where all the lines were +260 to +350. I won all 4 games. That sure makes up for this 1 small unit loss. I will have several winners like that this season that will more than cover for this little loss. So I am not throwing my money away.

any ideas if the giants will continue this great success in the 2nd double header game? Their bats seem to have been hot today!

If I had to bet the game I would take Houston in game 2 but not enough value to justify.
