I think his biggest downfall was being allowed to be the GM as well as coach, that very rarely works. I don't know if he was the GM in name, but he surely was in charge of personnel.

Was never a real NFL coach. Anyone that tries to win with a qb you don't want to stay in the pocket will lose. Proof is in the pudding.

And his moves were assinine at best.

Not true. His problem was never having a QB that could be a running threat, which is needed in his system. 3 of the top 4 QB's in rushing yards this year are in the playoffs, Cam, Wilson, and Alex Smith.

Running quarterbacks (stupid qb's) are never the answer. If you can't throw a 15 yard out, you do not count. I would not move up to take any of those guys. All out of the league within 5 years.

Trading for Sam Bradford was a horrible move. Why would Chip want such a fragile QB to run his offense?

Maybe he can go back to Oregon as the offensive coordinator.

When is a running qb ever a long term viable solution? It's the wildcat with the same results. Awesome for a week or 2..... and well....that's it.

He won't leave the NFL, he will end up coaching Tennessee or Indy

He is not wanted in Indy. Too stupid. The thought of Philly touching me is just nasty. They are Mcnabb and deserve that ugly feeling.
Dumbass fatboy Kelley would have Luck running off tackle 6 plays a drive.

Russell Wilson has been in the last 2 Super Bowls, and is the NFL's leading passer this year. Cam Newton is QB'ing the team with one loss. Aaron Rogers has been a top 3 QB for years.

Luck and his bad decision making is not the answer Vlad... lol.......I can only pray that Chip goes to Tennessee and then we can all forget that the Colts are even in the NFL

He`ll never be a NFL coach again.....He`ll be on a college sideline in September.....BET!

Unless there's a surprise firing at a bigger/major program, all of the "good" jobs have been filled. Only openings right now are Ball State and Texas State.

He'll be a very hot commodity in 2017....but I'm not sure if he'll be coaching a college program in 2016 (unless there's a surprise firing/retirement after the bowl games).

Are the Seahawks and Panthers complete teams?
Carolina has been carried on Cam's back. Far from a complete team. His Running is the backbone of their offense. Russel Wilson is simply the highest rated QB in the NFL, and his running is a tremendous option. He's been top notch for years with crap at receiver. Aaron Rodgers mobility has enhanced his greatness. Big Ben is dangerous because of what he does when he escapes the pocket. Alex Smith can't throw, but his running makes him somewhat passable as a QB. Your own guy Luck is a better QB because he can run if necc. Even the GOAT, Brady, worked on increasing his mobility outside the pocket this year to add to his greatness, and he's been the best QB sneak QB in the NFL for years.

Has been a HC for 7 years at the highest levels and has a career record of 72-28, show me another coach that has that kind of record his first seven years as a HC. He can coach he just can't coach and be a GM at the same time, nobody can these days in the NFL.
