Imagine relying on Cryrie Irving as your leader, LMFAO

At least us basketball knowledgeable C's fans realized what a joke he is in < two years

Others still think he's that guy

Kinda like thinking a basket case like Ben Simmons is good for a team, and the Nets have them both
Kyrie as your top dog is not a good idea, but as a #2 option he’s all time great — highlighted by his tenure in Cleveland . That version of kyrie was special

Nobody cares what Kyrie did years ago. He was a cancer in Boston. And he's a cancer in New Jersey. I don't care how many meaningless 30 point games he puts up. No team will win anything with Kyrie as one, two, three, four, or five. Cryrie (thanks Willie) is a team killer.

He may not win again and his tenure in Boston was murky

But he’s proven himself to be a damn good player and a lot of teams would take him in pursuit of a title still

I think a lot of teams would take “meaningless” 30 point games, whatever that means

What it means is that your team won't win (when the games count) with Kyrie on it.

How'd he do in the Boston series after the first game? How did his team do in the series?

Kyrie has won more recently than the Celtics have

If this is your argument then the Celtics are the kings of not winning shit when games “count”, regardless of who is on the court — at least recently

The playoffs this year obviously a shit show for Kyrie and the Nets — it was embarrassing for him/them. but man it’s rich when Celtics fans go off about knowing what it takes to win when they basically have been irrelevant for 35 years now

How about your team actually wins games that “count” first

You are bending the discussion into something that its not. The only thing this has to do with the Celtics is that this team was stifled with Cryrie on it.

I'm an NBA bettor in addition to being a Celtics fan. You are getting the two confused just like your idiot friend, Dr Know Nothing. I'll bet you any amount that any team that Kyrie is on never even wins a Conference title. I don't care who they aquire in the offseason or where he goes next. We're talking Kyrie here. Not the Celtics.

How much?

You say that, yet the vast majority of anti-Kyrie conversation is started by Celtics fans.

I think it’s fine for Celtics fans to dislike the guy, but it goes way beyond objectivity when Celtics fans criticize Kyrie. I haven’t found one exception on this forum of a Boston guy criticizing him without any sense of salty emotion.

There are basketball things to criticize the guy about, but man Boston fans are ruthless lol

Well yeah
I was going to say something mean concerning his intellect but decided against it. Trying to be on my best behavior and treat everyone with LOVE moving forward. Outside of known scam artists of course. They are still game.

Gotta love the “no one cares what he did in the past” followed by “he was a cancer in Boston” in the very next sentence

Lol

I'm heading to the track for the Preakness. I'll resume this conversation later.
Actual TRACK this time or the OTB again? For the Derby you said you were headed to the TRACK but that was apparently false. Honest question with no MALICE intended.

This is straight BS, whenever I criticize him I do it because he's overrated at basketball by casual fans. He's also obviously an idiot but that is kinda a win for him because it gets brought up a lot more than the fact he can't really do anything out there if he isn't scoring.

Not my fault people get fooled watching that style and I try to educate them.

He is overrated by some fans, but also underrated by others — including yourself. And he is 100% extra criticized by emotional Celtics fans

Dude is a bonafide star. Efficient as hell and arguably the greatest finisher at the rim as a guard in NBA history. Doesn’t hurt he shoots 40% from 3 on good volume too. Lebron’s best teammate ever

“All he does is score”— yeah he’s all time great at literally the most important thing in the sport.

He isn't LeBron's best teammate ever lol

you think he's better than AD in 2020 or Wade in 2011? That isn't even close

Wow, you're a big fan. Do you have his jersey?
