Michael Jackson

I am sure several of the young kids miss him lots. Like they would a toothache!

Gifted performer who turned into an Elephant Man and a child predator.

With out question, it was Payne Stewart. He is my all time favorite golfer

Check out the show that was just on last night on Payne. (Thing it will be rebroadcast on Golf Channel) I followed him too. Saw him playing one day with his young son a Shadow Creek. He had on regular pants and sort of looked funny. Regular baseball cap too. The show discusses some negatives about him before he matured a little more and understood himself and how to deal with press and other people. You know Sunday is the 15[SUP]th[/SUP] anniversary of his second U.S, Open victory. Also at Pinehurst.

Never could bring myself to care about a celebrity dying..... never really understood why I would since I do not know them.

I basically agree with you. However, Dale Earnhardt really hit home to me. I may not have known him on a personal level, but meeting him several times and knowing his life story really hit me hard when he passed. He truly lived what the American Dream is supposed to be about. Was an amazing guy to be around. His best friend, Neil Bonnett, was the same.

None of them really influenced me much nor did their death but the ones that I remember being a little sad about:

Michael Jackson
Whitney Houston
2Pac
Left Eye from TLC
Payne Stewart
Heath Ledger
Apollo Creed

When old ppl die I think of them as having lived a good life and it doesn't make me sad (especially famous old people)

Bruce Lee being dead was a shock to me (I learned he was dead when I was 7, even though that was over a decade after his death) and, even though he has yet to die, Sean Connery's death will probably make me a bit sad.

There was a lot of really good things that he did very quietly. He would do very kind things and make people promise not to say anything. Didn't really hear about those things till after he passed.

You mean in the movie, or in real life?

Please don't forget his epic role in Happy Gilmore as well.
