#1. Yes i am a pit, so protecting the interest of my casino has to do with job security. #2 its like a cat and mouse game to me. They know the casino doesnt want you doing it, so doing it on my section is almost disrespectful to me, ie they think im too dumb to notice. Its how i felt when someone tried to past post when i was a dealer
Then go post this horseshit on a dealer or pit boss forum. This forum here is David vs Goliath, all of us trying to beat Goliath in some aspect while taking many, many beatings over the years. We are all still breathing and still competing. So if you support Goliath in order to earn a living, I get that. But keep that crap to yourself. You've been here a long time, so you must also be a player in some aspects. You really rubbed me the wrong way, but I admit that my perception was probably incorrect of your true intentions. You just came across as a corporate shill, and I thought "this guy can go fuck himself." It's disrespectul to you for someone to sit on your table and compete? Lmao.

Casinos are the enemy and they have no morals. They are just like a filthy whore that wants to take your money, all of it if you'll let them. Then they put up some bullshit commercial about how they only want responsible gamblers. Lol, what a crock of shit. I once worked for a casino, and I'm not judging you. But they are the scum of the earth.

And don't compare past posting, ie cheating, to competing honestly.

past posters should be punched in the face,,,

card counters should be allowed a fair ammount of time to play, if they Break the casino for 50-100gs, then throw em out,, but a 5g win?? or whatever,,, its part of the game

being amazing at this part of your job?? Does this provide you greater Promotion/Raise potential? or just bragging rights?

I mean, if your saving the casino $$$, im suprised they dont offer a PER catch bonus??

Im actively seeking a promotion so having the knowledge or ability to save the casino money helps that. If card counters had free range and left alone, they would cut deeply into the bottom line and risk jobs potentially. I really have no problem with the act or the people outside of the fact it brings negative results to me

i guess you think switching dealers is cool too when a player it hot

Switching dealers is pointless, the cards are the cards. Ive done it numerous times at the request of my boss, id only switch dealers if i didnt think the dealer was fast enough or capable enough of dealing to said action

I dont really gave any problems with the players, if i had the skill, i would use. The fact is if I didnt catch it and someone down the line did, it would look negative upon me

What a giant piece of SH-IT you are for actually gloating on a gambling site for busting card counters at BJ.

You sir deserve a blanket party!!! Card counting is a skill and for a casino to not let you play because you are good at something is complete crap!!!

I have never gotten tossed for counting and it's only because I don't play for big cash.

Mods throw this piece of trash out for gloating about screwing a fellow gambler....

Thawk my guess would be you are much worse at card counting then you believe you are. Never meet a shy card counter when it comes to betting

Yea..either that or they walk over and say they need to change the cards out. That always seems to work too.

Can be true, alot of times its just required. Here if players touch the cards they have to be changed every 6 hours. We normally do the whole pit at the same time, so if they only change your table and your winning, you are probably correct

Ive kicked out alot people for being drunk and pissing away cash. I had a guest who was drunk and these 3 blondes kept taking the money he was giving him and losing it. Were treating him like shit too. He got kicked out fot being an intox, soon as he got escorted out they were like thid is our money now right.... then they told me they didnt feel safe leaving because he might be outside, then one said she thought he tried to steal her debit card at the bar. Mind you i watched him give them 1000-2000 at the tables in a course of 30 mins

I think you're being a bit ignorant with this statement. Professional card counters are *always* aware of the image that they are trying to
portray, and how their moves appear to the "eye-in-the-sky." They know pretty damned well how much they can get away with, and what
kind of action is going to get them booted.

So, for a professional counter, it's not about being shy or bold, it's being aware of how much they can get away with. It's a whole
cat-and-mouse game, as I'm sure you are aware, and at times, I've made non-counter type moves/plays, just to try and throw
off the pit. It happens all the time, and many books have been written about it (i.e. cover plays, and disguising counting).

I've honestly never even played blackjack but why don't they just use 20 deck shoes and change them out half way through or would that still be a big enough edge to someone counting cards and is that idea just plain ridiculous?:think2:

The number of decks employed doesn't make a counters job any harder, as we only keep track of the ratio of good and bad cards (bust cards vs. 10s & aces).
For me counting a double deck is just about the same as counting a 20 deck shoe. Single deck is a little bit easier, because you don't have to do the one
extra calculation to get the "true count" vs. "running count."
