Not sure why you would've traded for him when he was available in the 10 to 15 round range of most drafts. I guess if you missed the draft and the auto picker gave him to someone else.
Anyway, I think I made one comment in the in-game thread for this year's All-Star game. I wrote that the National league didn't even have its best player on the roster. I didn't mention a name, but it should now be pretty obvious who I was referring to.
carlos is a 5 tool player, so i definitely think he can surpass adrian...and im a big adrian supporter and have been, hes the best 1b in the game, in my opinion, better than pujols.....not many would agree with me there im sure......
i just dont know if cargo will ever be more valuable to his team than mauer.....while mauer is not aq 5 tool guy, he may as well be since his value as a catcher is basically the same or more value as cargos speed and arm .....but i agree with u in a sense that he will be 2nd best.......
however, is ee votto surpassing adrian , and its quite possible votto could be a better overall talent than cargo if they both continue on their current paths...cargo is great, but seriously how often does a triple crown guy come around, 40-50 years?
