There is absolutely no excuse for leaving Thompson in this game, unless you don't care about winning the game..its that simple. Torre does it all the time and the results have been horrendous. Now Larussa gets ejected...How professional....The guy has no problem leaving a stiff like Thompson in a game when he clearly does not have his best stuff....but has no problem getting ejected in a game down 4 runs with a struggling offense...Idiot...
