dam i'm tired. feels like i'm living in a ghost town, so dam quiet here at the ranch, except my 1 cat did wake my sorry ass up

pw: asu had a line on when the roof was going to be open or closed, i'll see if i can hit him up this today with an advanced answer

i'm going for stars, back in a few

i would think today it would be closed since its a day game but i'll wait and see b4 i do anything

pops one other question - regarding the pdws, what era do you use for capping, game era or total era, i noticed they usually are different, is one more important than the other?

data shows that 50-65 is a good range for the pitchers. very very low un 20 for hitters (not enough friction to create motion) and in the higher range wtf knows, were just getting there now

Weather here at Safeco Field will have higher humidity today than yesterday because of the influx of clouds overnight. Sunbreaks expected but gametime temperature shouldn't be more than 68 degrees, with humidity probably in the 30-45% range.

Just thought I would give you guys a first hand report.

pickeup up a few games this am

milk ov
sea ov
det ov
phil ov
laa ov

that should be it, the rest will be scalps etc

Pops,
why sea over and laa over? I cant find anything on the sheet to justify those plays. also in the seattle game you are playing into a line move, not against it.
also holly numbers point to under plays, so why over? I was leaning to unders based on the sheet but i cant buck the guy who designed the sheet, when hes going the other way.
Teach me.
cd
p.s.glad everything worked out for you yesterday. are you having any cages, pins or rods placed in your back or are they just going to let scare tissue take the place of the disc?

Pops,
another question for you. Everyday i notice the grand salami is always shaded a few runs to the over, is that because most bettors love to bet the overs?
Last nights totals on the games added up to 139 yet the grand salami total was 144. Today the salami is 139, yet totals on games only add up to 135, they are shading the over again. Happens like this everyday.

14.45 combined era's on sea, isnt that good enough, plus almost 10 for laa

i try to get on games that i feel will be bet up or down, than make a decision around game time to hold or fade. if it move with my bet .5 or more i'll lay it off. if not i'll hold

I didnt think you put alot of weight in eras considering everybody can see what the pitchers eras and high eras are already calculated into lines.
Am gonna sit on the sidelines for those games as am not gonna take a chance trying to buck the teacher.
sidenote: 2 pitchers in laa game have both pitched one game against each team this year and combined era is 6

lines yes, betting no, as most will only use those numbers b4 they bet

one game does not make a sample. i like those series where the team just swing away, most of those all go one way the entire series

Wow, lightening struck my house last night and screwed alot shit up.

I see my numbers fades went 0-3. I am going to let them ride the pine while I tweak the criteria. I really think there is something to it.......its like when all the numbers and trends lean one way they start trying to regress.

Looks like alot of good NL fades today. What am I missing with the downward line movement with Cain and Maddux?
